It should go without saying but seeing as she's a bit of a beacon for controversy - for a variety of reasons - let's just remind ourselves what the board rules are around racism and sexism, shall we?

As far I am aware she made the allegations that he said inappropriate things to her , that appears to me to be more sexual harassment than assualt

Considering she'd have to deal with the AFP I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Well if anything is to go by, they'd want to make sure they get every single thing right.

The bloke sounds like an absolute campaigner. And deserves consequences.

Not just being thrown out of parliament. Otherwise it will continue elsewhere.

It's obvious that he hasn't realised with stories that Stoker is a 2nd victim.

The wording Dutton used this morning seems to insinuate this is separate to the other allegations.

Regardless, the claims of Thorpe need to be looked into, independently.

Stokers statement and it’s detail and the seriousness of the follow up is something clearly believable.

I don't, just look at how many people line up to smear and discredit anything she says.

People are already used to reading negative things about here in the papers

Not sure why you think she should have faith in systems that are so clearly against her to do the right thing if she gives them a chance though

And there are always going to be those people. It sucks.
Do I agree with the way she does things at times? **** no.

But, and this is the important thing. She is a human being who has rights and should not be subject to any kind of violence and harassment. Sexual or otherwise.

Van is accused by multiple women. And instead of taking it to authorities they've all dealt with it in house and he has continued to get away with it.

But that's me being an optimist and wanting progress and change within the legal system.

Do I think that the AFP would try the same conduct as with the Higgins case? They surely couldn't be that dumb with the shit show which was the review. But again me being the optimist and hoping for a better outcome.
