I will frequently search my posting history in the statistics toolbar just so i can relive some of my lulziest posts and check if anybody acknowledged them with a or emoticon.

Are you sure he actually wanted to fine you? I've never been done for jaywalking, but in my experience when a cop says 'you will get a fine in the mail' it's code for 'I'm actually letting you off this time'.

They're empowered to give on-the-spot fines for stuff like that so there's no reason for them to post it out to you. You might have actually talked yourself into a ticket by putting him on the spot.

well it was either cop a $60 fine for j walking or miss at lab worth 12.5% of my subject. which could potentially cost me $1000+ if I had to repeat

Not really. A bunch of us were sitting in a booth-type arrangement around a round table. I came back from the toilet or the bar and there was one sitting on the table trying to convince my mate to get a lappy. I pulled a 50-cent piece out and gave it to him.

She obviously thought I valued her at 50c, when clearly I thought my mate was 50c short of making the transaction.
