Leant - Richmond apparently has 100,000 members but only 40,000 can rock up and watch a Saturday arvo home game at the G. What the???? I have learnt that they certainly aren't the biggest club as they claim.

Not sure you've thought through memberships. They aren't all 11 game members, so they don't all have access to all games.

Add in illness, weather, family or work commitments, and you'll find the proportion of attendees is about the same for every club.

Liked: Winning
Learnt: Richmond getting all their blokes back at just the right time, lots of youngsters have had more exposure that they otherwise wouldn't and now they can pick their team with the benefit of that development
Hated: Pushing in the back while a bloke is in the air. After Lonie earlier on in the year almost had his year ended, Impey this round. Plenty of historical incidents where a shove in the marking contest has resulted in injury. Not a good look, not a footy action.

No suprise that your team was the one who won a game off the back of poor, no make that horrendous umpiring
Are we just going to pretend the Lions won by one goal? They won by two goals, so even if that goal was scrubbed off they still would have won. Plus the AFL admitted mistakes for both the Oscar free and the Ben Brown free prior. If we scrub out one, we must scrub out the other. So any way you slice it, Lions won by 12 and deserved the win. Those complaining need to grow up and get over it, every club has bad luck with the umpires sometimes.

Watched the last quarter last night and the commentators were flipping out over the Ben Brown free. One called it a horror free kick.

If the game is so close a single free kick changes the outcome of a match, there's little basis to complain. If one team was clearly better and more deserving of the win on that day they would have been further in front.

Brisbane, on the other hand, had suffered through a handful of howlers that benefited North Melbourne leading up to the McInerney free. If North had gotten over the top off the back of the Brown free there would have been ample reason to complain.
