Walkers talent is undeniable, however I'm not so sure Neil Craigs game plan is that conducive to big goal scoring.
If he stays fit, I expect 35-50 goals. Less than 35 goals would be a poor result and more than 50 goals would put him in AA contention.
He is the fittest he has ever been and his application in the practice matches has been outstanding.
I can't agree with that. I think you are slightly overrating Walker and slightly underrating Thomas, and I don't think Jamison is the prime measuring stick for key forwards.
I don't think you have watched enough of adelaide this year it looks like... (funnily enough, for a strange reason, I have watched every one of their games bar the freo one)...
It looks like a clear focus on stretching oppositing defence has been place with 3 big players that all require quality opponents... this will be to the advantage of the crows forwards as one on one they will hardly get beaten, particularly Walker...
There are many type of forwards, the fast lead, the high jumping and the strength based push of the opponent and outmuscle them... Jamison isn't Scarlett by any means, however there is one type of opponent he does beat everytime, and that is the body on body/push of the opponent type (aka Bradshaw, Pods, etc)... Walker plays this kind of role too, where he holds out the opponent... and wins most times... and he did that a couple of times against Jamo... which was really impressive...
I am probably overrating him abit, but I just love how he plays...
Regarding Thomas... I do not underrate him at all... I actually argue the case that he is underrated in general... like you said, 50goals would be pushing toward AA, I don't think he is at that level... however he is a 40goals a year player in my opinion... which is a great return from a small forward...
I just think the comparison here is only going to have legs if Walker gets injured... apart from that, I just don't see how anyone can argue Thomas to kick more goals
