"She said she headed down towards the bedroom … and she discovered his torso, she says, wrapped in plastic on the floor."

The prosecution said Ms Williams told police she didn't know what to do with the torso, so she wrapped it in a tarp, dumped it on the side of the road and set the remains alight so police would find it.

Mr Fuller told the court: "When asked about the torso, she thought that a friend may have come and cut up the body."
(Because that's what friends are for)

I know it's not funny but her defence is so ridiculous it's hard to treat it with any sombre respect. It's Sylvania Waters on ice. I haven't even looked yet but, what did she do with his head?

She will walk on the murder charge and get a GBB on the interfering with a corpse charge

What's a GBB?

So gross, anybody could cut up a corpse like that I'd have to suspect might have killed him in the first place. And I don't think she should get off lightly either until she tells his family where the rest of him is. Like no body, no parole. No head, no parole.

Might have become just a bit more complicated Crow.

The son of a man whose headless torso was found burning on the side of a rural road near Gympie received birthday and Christmas messages from his father's email account after the remains were found but not yet identified, a court has heard.

September 6, 2013 email:
"I am in bed today!! With a bad dose of the "flu", I won't be able to make any games tonight."

September 14, 2013 email:
"Lindy and I have decided to go on a holiday and won't be back until February 2014. Her son and daughter in law will be staying at the house. I will keep in touch via email and skype."

October 11, 2013 email:
"I have been getting rid of the white ants in the house, I had to rip up floor and skirting boards "what a job".
"We are leaving today, Cairns, Darwin and then on to Asia and Europe!!"

January 28, 2014 email:
"Hi Simon, Have a wonderful birthday!! What are you doing to celebrate?"

Lindy told a private investigator friend who's now a witness, apparently she hired a Chinese debt collector to chase $46k off George and a fight broke out where George lost. Then the Chinese debt collector was interrupted in the process of dismembering George and took off, so Lindy had to finish it.
