I agree, I don't think he is bent though.

That has to be the reason why they'd waste time on showing him still being involved in organised crime and then at the police academy immediately after. The implication is that he has been groomed to be a new 'Caddy' for a long timeI only have to see the word "bent" in any definition & manner to immediately start seeing this kid:

Interestingly, he actually had a small role of sorts in Season 5 looking much older... And there's a few theories around that he may be used moving forward!

He obviously is going to be, he is Ryan, the one inducted into the academy.I only have to see the word "bent" in any definition & manner to immediately start seeing this kid:

Hastings would be a fantastic boss to work for. I'd be gutted if he turns out to be bent
If he was bent it would almost destroy his character.
Last season they drop hints that he might be bent or corruptable. The money problems, disposal of a computer, being under investigation. And of course the long term storyline of the series in that AC12 are searching for 'H' and you could possibly link Hastings to 'H' due to his last name.Yeah, I don't like the idea of it at all. It would undermine the whole show and not in a good way.

Obviously it proved to be unfounded but if tge show's writers went in on Hastings being proved to be bent, it would be a pretty good twist and a way to end a cracking tv show series.
Season 6 of Jed Mercurio’s Line of Duty premieres in the UK next week and will screen in Australia through BritBox.

Not coming to NF?Returned to UK screens today and is already available via 'alternative' methods. Looks like you'll need to sign up to yet another random streaming service if you want to access it legitimately though

The text of the linked article says its exclusive to BritBox (whatever that is)Not coming to NF?
This was my question too. What is BritBox? Is it a foxtel offshoot like Kayo, Binge? The text of the linked article says its exclusive to BritBox (whatever that is)
Alternative methods it shall be.The text of the linked article says its exclusive to BritBox (whatever that is)
IDK why it didn't bother me before, but the way that AC-12 seemingly throws around disciplinary action based on circumstantial evidence is kinda pissing me off after watching the first two episodes of S6
This is bollocks. Total bastard bollocks.
Great fun, though. Davidson is much smarter than Buckells, but neither are the big fish.
Pretty sure the emails he keeps deleting are from "Occupational Health"Arnott keeps ignoring the drug testers.
Didn't recognise the woman in the pic, but likely a minor character from a previous season.Ep 4 is good. It seems the fish are very big if they can organise hits on police convoys and order prison murders.
Hastings gets told to pack up and go but surely he will wrangle a reprieve.
Arnott keeps ignoring the drug testers.
Who is the mystery person that DCI Joanne Davidson is related to?
