all reports say kennelly's right but i'd be happy to give him another week
can't see much reason to change other than that

If Kennelly comes back I'd say it would be Bird who would be left out. Schmidt was fantastic last week, Playfair is giving some room to O'Keefe and O'Loughlin and providing a great pair of hands as our decoy key forward, and I can't see them making Ablett the scapegoat, as much as I'm on his back all the time he had a really good game last week.

Tending to agree with you about Kennelly, hope they're not rushing him back. Great to see the knee wasn't too serious this time around, I had a sickly feeling after the Bombers game.

Who'll drop for him? Schmidt I'm guessing, bit rough after that textbook banana!

Forgot about Bird, he'll probably go before Schmidt.

This is such an awesome problem to have right now. Imagine when Baz comes back and Nick finds his mojo -- serious competition for spots :D

Time to give Bird a rest in the twos I think and definately time to trade him out of your DT for Cotchin. Any news on Barlow? Still injured?

Not really happy about Kennelley coming back.Another week would not do any
harm.Seems to me that he has a history of playing while not fully fit,or is just my imagination! Otherwise happy with selections. PS what exactly is the current status of Nick Davis?

If you read between the lines it might seem that Nick Davis might be considered around Halls return as they surely wouldn't talk favourably about him if they weren't serious about him coming back into the team to kick goals as they say "that's what he does" But you really do have to look around to think who would come out.

Like it was said before better to be thinking who would come out than jeepers when is ??? going to come back

I'm going to the reserves game before the main game starts so I'll look out for him and see how he's faring. Playing at CHB and scoring a goal or two a game and defending, running and attacking pretty well so far, so hopefully another game isn't too far off for him.

Far too short for CHB. Surely you mean the flank? (or am I being picky) :D

Id love to see Davis back ,as long as he realises, that apart from kicking goals,
he also has to contain the ball,in our forward 50. That means running, and tackling our oppositions defenders.Something he has been guilty of not doing!

I reckon Roos will go with Teddy on Richo. He seems to get the job on the tall roaming forwards these days. It'll be a great test for him but I reckon there's a good chance Richo will tear him apart. We can concede some possession to Richo up the field and just hope Teddy can go with him in defence where Leo can probably leave his man and help out.

I would have thought if we were trying to carry Ben Mathews to 200 he would have played in this game.

Kennelly should only play if he is truly 100% otherwise they should ensure he is right for West Coast who have hit some form.

It looks like Roos is going to give Brennan one more crack at senior football somewhere along the line.

Yeah, Teddy on Richo, at least to start off with. Tall and mobile but Richo might smash him in regards of aerial dominance. If he has trouble with it, shove Bolton on him. If he's still rampaging ... the Goodes train can have a go with Richomond.

Me too. It'll be like two terriers fighting to the death. :thumbsu:

Agree with most of your matchups too BTW. I'd swap a couple around down back but other than that I reckon you're on the money.

Brilliant matchup, I love Kingy but I'd love to see Smoorey tear him to pieces. Two quick, little, hard nuts going at it. Can not wait for this matchup if it eventuates.
