I think Cats are very wary of having heavy legs after a heavy game.

Combine Mummy's 3 games in a row, with the last being in the wet, and i think they may include West to add some more spring to our rucking step

Excellent observation, and one i hadn't thought of.

I was just thinking that dropping Mumford and bringing West back just for the one week (assuming Ottens returns next week) would do more harm than good.

So is Ottens going to come straight back in? There is no VFL next week due to the state match. I would think he would have had at least one match in the VFL?

No sounds like they are ready to throw him in no matter what next week and just see how it goes. I'd say he is sick and tired of waiting. Worst that can happen is that it tears again and hopefully repairs properly this time.

heath shaws been down lately. hes making his brother rhyce look good at the moment. hopefully we dont see him streaming out of our forward line on too many occasions. hawkins, gamble, stokes, moons etc. will have to add defensive pressure. they've been good all yr but this will be a big test.

hoping we dont go in with the mentality that this game will be like freo. tough but we can pull thru it from stints of great play, from few players. rather use the fact that we have ran over teams late to our adv. better still, play a good first half of footy which will ease the pressure off us in the second.

hawks tumbled over this mob so technically we should too if we want to be the number one team by round's end. although bombers denied it already, last yrs prelim will be in the minds of the players. probably not at the forefront but sitting somewhere comfortably.

Had 34 touches and was our best against Hawthorn 2 weeks ago so don't agree with this statement, that aside reckon you guys will win by 4-6 goals.

Agree. He just had a quiet week when he was tagged.

I don't think that will happen again. It's not Geelong's style.
