You guys have had some shocking luck - I know from 2004 exactly what it feels like. 
We can only beat the team we play, but I don't think that tonight's result is a fair indication of where the two teams stand.

Tonight's result means Sydney are 9 goals better than Geelong with 11 players out including their FF, Ruck, CHF, CHB and Best 2 on ballers.

********, I knew we were hit hard, but thats scary. The way we are going we'll be lucky to have 18 fit players. If a scenario was to come up where a team had less than 22 players to the senior list available, if rookies would be allowed to play?

Scarlett was rules out Saturday afternoon, and the club sent an urgent SOS to Brent to get to Sydney ASAP as he would be replacing Scarlett (bizarre choice of player, thought Spencer might be the one to replace him), however try as he might he couldnt get to Sydney in time and Scarlett had to play the game!!
