must have a tight shedule, did a 2 hour show on k-rock from 6-8 and now is on the footy show! good work lingy, although he is copping it from sam!
 
Sammy just sprayed him for his past 2 seasons... it was great!

Said what everyone has thought but never had the balls to say.

....sometimes Sam just reveals a little too much about how uneducated and simplistic his views on the game can be... Kick it long! .... right buddy, kick it long to a one on four contest ... they didn't use flooding tactics in your day, so don't draw upon your own experiences to use as an example. We didn't play direct the last couple of years because we had no one to kick it to FFS!!

lingy was a bit of a celebrity last year until things went bad. im suprised thommo would let them do that stuff after last year when they couldnt keep a lid on it.

I cannot be bothered watching the show these days - too much like a kids pantomime with cheap smut thrown in.

Exactly SS...couldn't have put it better myself. His views are too simplistic and back in the days where everyone played man on man football. A lot more thinking required in todays game. It really annoys me that sam continues to say the same thing about the cats when the same argument can be said about every team.
 
I think Sam said the right thing, he basically said that Lingy used to chip it sideways and backwards to much, and that the cats are playing well mainly due to the fact they are going more direct. I think it was a valid comment. What i didnt know was that bomber recieved threats against himself for playing Lingy last yr. I was shocked, i love my footy just as much as the next bloke but threatening the coach goes way to far.

Reminds me a bit of the tiger supporter spitting on spud Frawley. We dont need those types of supporters around our club, they should be supporting the bulldogs in the NRL.

Yeah I see it the same although Sammy is a bit simplistic. I think it is more to do with where they hold up the ball. Geelong last year used to hold it up at across the HB line (Lingy was particularly guilty of this). Inevitably they would cough it up and it would lead to opposition goals.

Now it is run out through the center corridor with a sense of urgency. It has allowed us to move the ball on through players streaming forward or else the ball is held up at the Half Forward line. If there is no option I am all for them waiting until a good lead is made. Last year they just bombed it forward and that doesn't work.
