Confirmed by the other vocalist here:
Regardless if you liked their music or not this presents another opportunity to open up dialog about personal struggles you or someone you know may be dealing with.
If you're not coping and for whatever reason feel that suicide is an option, please take some more time to think it through, reach out, if not to a loved one then a professional.
You are not alone.
If you feel like you have no one to talk to, or don't want to scare those you care about by sharing these thoughts there are services like lifeline.org.au (13 11 14) who are available 24/7 and are more than willing to listen. Sometimes just verbalising our problems things can help immensely, maybe even help put them into perspective.
If you know someone who is having a difficult time, please take the time out to sincerely ask how they are, let them know you're there if they need. This could be the kind of small gesture that a person needs, to know that someone cares.
Chester Bennington, the lead singer of rock band Linkin Park, has been found dead at his southern California home in an apparent suicide.
A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, Brian Elias, said it had been notified by law enforcement of the death of Bennington, 41, on Thursday morning (local time).
