I did an optimistic ladder predictor and had us just outside the top 8
Had us winning most home games. I must have been overly optimistic. Where does Dylan have us finishing?

I'll have what you're all smoking. I'd be happy at this point if we are out of the bottom 4 by end of next season.
I think as a team we will obviously improve... but compared to the rest of the comp it will be difficult to jump up 4-5 spots on the ladder. So you're most optimistic prediction of the Lions next year has us slightly improving?

We should be above Carlton, GC, Saints and l reckon we can go above Freo and WB as well. Crows are a tricky one as l have no idea where they will finish. reckon we can also finish above Port depending on the wins we have.I think if we don't get a sizeable jump this year then it'll never happen. Youth isn't an excuse any longer.
Agree, IMO our mature age recruits ie. Lachie Neale, Marcus Adams, Jarryd Lyons and to a lesser extent Lincoln McCarthy will have a large bearing on our rate of improvement in 2019, others in that mid tier age group that need to stay healthy, in form and/or step up are Daniel McStay, Allen Christensen, Charlie Cameron, Tom Cutler, Darcy Gardiner and Lewy Taylor.I think if we don't get a sizeable jump this year then it'll never happen. Youth isn't an excuse any longer.
That's becasue it looks like someone is topping it up as you go Jason.Ladder predictor, I had us finishing 7th and then going on a run to win the flag but I'm a glass half full sort of guy.
Bundy very stiff. I'd have him ahead of quite a lot of the players in that 22. Can play a variety of roles and is one of the best users of the ball on our list.
From memory, l don't remember him doing a lot last season. Didn't impact that much up forward nor in the middle, when put in the back for the last game or 2 he did create a lot of run.IMO Allen Christensen fit and firing is a 1st 22 lock.
Had a slightly down year but we've seen how good he can be in the past. When up and going he is a very important player for us. As you said he was very good at the end of the year and I expect him to pick up from where he left off. From memory, l don't remember him doing a lot last season. May have suffered the same issue guys returning from ACLs have - when you miss 12 months of footy (in his case more like 18 months) it can take at least another season to really get going again (confidence in body etc)From memory, l don't remember him doing a lot last season.
