He came across as representing some supporter group that as far as I could determine, didn't exist.
A lonewolf, lone ranger, trying to save those who didn't need him to save them. Either that, or given his past, just a 'board whore' desperate to put something on his CV.

Personally, I didn't advocate for Chris, but I think the above is unfair and nothing more than a cheap shot.

I wouldn't know / recognise the man if I passed him in the street, but he obviously loves the club enough to want to make a difference, regardless whether any of us think it is a misguided approach or a platform we don't agree.

As I said earlier, he has form with Cronulla which suggests he isn't a genuine Lions supporter but rather someone who desperately wants a board gig at a footy club. He won't get it with this club anytime soon.

Its quite possible for someone to support multiple teams across multiple codes. I know TBD will most likely stop talking to me but I am a long time supporter of the Broncos as well as the lions. Have been a member of both over the years. Loving one thing doesn't mean you can't love another.

Sorry ......you may have to add me to the TBD list .....not because it is Rugby League ....... because it is the Broncos.

Liverpool I could tolerate, but the Broncos .......

Same here.

For some reason, I enjoyed playing Rugby League in my younger days more than Aussie Rules, but Aussie Rules was always a better sport to watch. I've been a fan of both Lions & Broncos down through the years (but watching less RL of late).

There was a short article in the Courier Mail today that stated that the airport was our destination as a training base now with Nathan out due to governmental funding shortfall - announced at the GM. Can anyone shed some light on this??
