The Lions are gonna do it this year - without a doubt. Went to the intra club match on Friday night, and the boys are looking so fit and hungry for defeat!!! Look out the other 15 teams, the Lions are going all the way in 2000.

I Reccon! The lions are going to be even better than last year, the loss of matty clarke will hurt us a bit, but with recruit stafan carey along with jarrod molloy and vossy being injury free that will counter the loss. They are not guaranteed a premiership win, but certainly a grand final berth.

GO LIONS!

I think when means hungry from defeat .... I think Lions have unfinished business this year and you could tell how dosappointed they were last year for not getting to GF wheras years ago we would have been happy with finishng so high, fact is we had (have) the players to do it . I know is easier said than done but I really feel we will take no prisoners this year.

I was very impressed with skill level and slickness of the trial and think we have a bit of depth as well.

Lions should be favourites but if C. Keating goes down forget about it

Maybe not this season, but they could be a chance over the next few years, especially 2001, 2002 and 2003 :)

No other team wouldve stood a chance because essendon were just to good back then

Carlton with an in-form Kouta would've been a chance.

Look at the Round 20 match, that was basically a GF preview if our sides were to play. Kouta injured in the 1st, Bradley hamstring, and another player I cannot rememeber, 2 man bench. One point behind at 3 quarter time, then ran us off our legs. :(

Some Essendon supporters even claimed we opened the door for the Bulldogs. But I reckon the GF would've been much more interesting had we played in it.

Back to school for you.

2007 - 2000 = 7

His schooling appears just fine.

I'll let you count.

2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007

If he was nine in January 2000. Had a birthday sometime between the end of January and the middle of May (being over a quarter of a year) then he would be right to be 17 now.

So before chipping in with stupid remarks attempting to belittle someone make sure they weren't right in the first place.

Therefor Einstein 2007 - 2000 may equal 7 mathematically, but realistically it could also as in this case be eight.
