Oh what a pleasant surprise. Guess which is the only match out of 5 that is not on FTA this weekend?

Presumably it would still have been FTA if we had only the four games in OR this year, as in previous years.

To make it harder to find a decent viewing venue in Canberra the Raiders are playing Manly on Saturday night in their first NRL game of the season so all the big screens at the clubs and pubs will be showing that game. If I can find our game anywhere it'll be on a distant 40 inch screen in some dark corner of the club.

(Yes I was considering getting Kayo this year now that Murdoch has sold it, but there's not much point as I'll be away for over 2 months of the season.)

If you're happy to pay $25 I posted a couple of pages back about a church parking lot very close to the ground. Far cheaper than any of the other paid parking in that area. For free on street parking you'd need to go outside the event parking zone, which would be a considerable walk. Parking inspectors are very active during gabba games. I copped a fine near the Pineapple a couple of years ago.
