It'll be a great footy scenario if the Lions meet the Roos in the Ansett Cup Grand Final.

These two clubs are forming one of recent time's great rivalries, with a number of close, and hard-fought matches.

I certainly don't hate the Roos (in fact, they are a great team to watch), but I can't wait for the chance to see the Lions beat them in Melbourne.

I think it's Round 2 of teh H&A season that the Lions meet the Roos at the Gabba. Not that I want to deprive the QLD based fans of the opportunity to see the Lions beat the Roos, but I certainly want it to happen in Melbourne first. After all, the "classic" clashes between these two sides in the last few years have all been in Melbourne. It'd be poetic justice for us Lions fans in Melbourne to see it first! (Especially in a GF - albeit, a pre-season one).

I can't wait for it! CARN THE LIONS!!!

When I first read Olmy's topic, I was about to comment on how interesting the by-play between the lions and kangaroos supporters will be to read at bigfooty during Ansett Cup Grand Final week.

Not that I should comment, I have a tendency to turn threads into St Kilda threads.

A lions vs kangaroos Grand Final is my tip for the Grand Final as a matter of interest. Or lack of interest for those of us who's teams have been banished to Bendigo for the weekend.
