Time for the boys to assert their authority on the Pineapple Grapple and dispose of the Suns in a professional ruthless fashion, a top 4 spot beckons.

Currently 4 degrees and pouring in Melbourne. So glad the boys have got a home game and not playing in this awful stuff. Few teams playing for top four spots and top 8 spots won't be liking this weather in Melbourne.

Let's get through today with a comfortable win and more importantly no injuries. Be happy to see Zorko come out late really don't think we need to risk him.

Richy or McCluggage for the medal.

Nice to see the Suns pull Jack Martin out. We must have told them we don't want him coming to pre season injured :)

Starcevich in the emergencies is the most likely emergency to cover Zorks if he is pulled out. Cant see Cox covering any midfield minutes although he has looked good the last couple of weeks. Basti's disposal is great in a bit more of an open game but cant see him as the in for Zorko either. roll on reserve grade and see who sits out against Gold Coast also. Nice warm evening and won't be too cold so maybe Zorko does play.

90 minute scheduling delay, plus over an hour sitting on the tarmac, this game better be worth it.

At least it's only an hour flight and you're not spending 2 hours on the tarmac in Chicago waiting for a gate to get off a plane after 15 hours from auckland a 2 hour wait in Auckland and a flight from Brisbane all while travelling with a 3 year old.

It seemed like an ok idea in theory

Hoping I wake up tmrw morning to a big win for the lions. 140am is just a bit too early to wake up or too late to go to bed unfortunately

Hows the wind close to the gabba going?
I just got home from watching the granddaughter play soccer at Annerley, (1-2km from the Gabba as the crow flies) and the breeze was quite stiff.

The Gabba playing surface is pretty well protected from the wind though, so shouldn't be a problem.

Zorko 100% fit so barring an injury on the way to the Gabba, he will play.

Our Misses 6 and 3 were fantastic thankfully. The parents were grumpier than them.

Probablyhas something to do with the trees being sideways today.
Plane almost went sideways on take off a few times, plus Sydney was only running one runway. The tarmac time was actually due to the airport deciding to change from the east-west runway to a north-south takeoff because of the time at night, so the plane had to taxi all the way around from one to the other. Morons.

Three and a half hour delay for me. Got to our apartment at 2:30am.
