I'm not sure if he has the tank to play CHF AWG. I'd use him in the ruck, and either rotate him into the FP, or give him a spell on the bench.
And Lance did have the tank to play CHF??
Dont underestimate the Clokemeister

No problems with him? Really? His fumbling, slow brain, poor decision making and petrified intensity do not concern you? His inability to turn draft camp speed into football speed doesnt worry you? A complete lack of one on one talent no problem? The fact he can't really lock down a guy, either tagging, or off half back, without COMPLETELY sacrificing any likelihood of getting the ball a concern?
He has an ever reducing chance of making it IMO. He is coming into his fourth year and yet is no certainty to be in our starting 22. If that doesn't concern you I'm not sure what would.
We shouldn't accept Fev's character flaws..

[/b]Completely agree. Don't think people understand what a difference it will make to our flexibility if he stays on the park. The same goes for that lazy streak of duck-shit, Hartlett.
I'll add this though. If Cloke's shoulder goes again our medical department should be sacked. I don't want to hear about how they were supposed to know - they should know. If his shoulder is at all likely to go again it would be the end of him and leave us in shit plenty. He should have been delisted if there was any likelihood of the same injury recurring. Sounds harsh but I will be so ****ed off if it happens.

The other thing to remember is that Cloke had ample opportunity at the Pies to establish himself and came up short to any number of factors. He came to us with his career on the line and put in a number of good games. Who is to know that if he had played more games he might have reverted to his old ways that lost him his spot at the Pies, a club that persisted with him longer than necessary given he was a Cloke. Either he has had an epithany and seen the light (hope so) or he will eventually (half way through a season) revert to his Collinwood standard (not good enough)
What do we need to balance our list?
Forwards, forwards and even more tall forwards with Fevola turning 27 this year and Fisher likely to injury himself getting out of bed. Our rebuild might take a little longer that first thought when our picks are taking the place of a dud, whilst WCE, Collingwood, Hawthorn, St Kilda, Geelong, etc. only add to their depth when they recruit a young gun. Goddard, Wells, Mclean and maybe a Mundy would be in our best 22 players each week and allow Gibbs and Murphy the freedom to run free instead of being key players as teenagers finding their feet.
Who said the draft penalties haven't hurt us?![]()

Where did I say the draft penalties were to blame for the loss when the topic is our playing list and depth?Every time we lose - the draft penalties. Move on.
Rucks/KPP
Red - Gone Orange - On trial Green - Keepers
Ackland.
Aisake.
Cloke.
Hampson.
Jacobs.* do not think he will make it, probably need to look for 1 more ruckman soon to either draft or rookie list.
Kreuzer.
Tall forwards
Edwards - really needs to prove his worth this year or may not last much longer
Fevola.
Fisher.
Hartlett. great potential, but injuries may make him unviable
Waite.
Tall defenders.
Austin.
Bower. I really can't see this guy making it. Sad but thats how I see it.
Jamison.
Setanta O'hAilpin.
Saddington. good depth player, we probably still need him atm. Not in 1st 22 though.
Thornton.
Waite.
Midfielders/wings
Bentick. Bentick and Blackwell are still the bottom of the midfield tree for me and will have to work really hard to prove that they deserve to stay around after this year
Blackwell.
Carrazzo.
Gibbs.
Grigg.
Hadley.
Hill.* Nothing negetive about these 2 rookies, they will just need to show something to get elevated thats all.
Joseph*
Judd.
Murphy.
Scotland.
Simpson.
Stevens.
Walker.
Small/Medium defenders/taggers.
Anderson.
Armfield. Love this guys enthusiasm, but not sure if he is really able to find his own ball and will have plenty of competition for a spot in the BP.
Bannister. will struggle 4 a spot in 1st 22 and needs to prove worth to keep a spot after '08
Browne.
Jackson.
Pfeiffer.
Shields.* see other rookie comment.
Small/Medium forwards.
Benjamin. will be under pressure to fulfill potential or else
Betts. Still needs to improve output, seems to have hit a bit of a wall and others may overtake him.
Ellard.* IMO will definitely be elvated. Is 1 that may eventually take over Betts place.
Houlihan.
Russell. See Bannister
Wiggins. See Bannister
* rookie listed players.
You don't see Bower making it?This is how I see it.
Would you trade Fevola so we have three first round picks in the next draft to start the rebuild of our forwardline?
