Just asking if there is any links for the contracts of Charlie Cameron and Luke Hodge? Helping develop an AFL game and getting contract data but my two other sources state 2018 for both of them. Also, I can only find an article about Archie Smith being contracted until the end of 2019, not 2020. Cheers

There's a thread in the Roster Watch subforum with links to source articles for everyone's contract lengths.

It is a lot of players out of contract, however looking at it, only about half of them at this stage would be considered "must keep". Given the path the club has gone the last year's, we will likely be unsentimental when off se

Unfortunately it’s not only the uncontracted players we have to worry about leaving.

Only "must keep" would be Gardiner. Only "would really really like to keep" are bundy, big O and Cutler with a large number relient on their form next year. See this as a positive.

Seriously undervaluing the likes of Cutler and McStay IMO. They’re all approaching that key age of 23+ where our list has struggled in recent years. Sure they still both need to be more consistent, but they’re both first 18 players so essential re-signings.

At least 10 of those guys wont be here 2020
You do wonder, although you think we are not wanting to do a major clean out if we think we push for the 8 in 2020..
I know for fringe or older players seems the norm now one year contracts. Then they see if they push for a place or not. Walker, Hinge, Eagles, Robbo and Lester.
You look at the list all 3 of our ruckman OOC.. You would think Stef and Big O safe.
Then 6 talls Ballenden, McStay, Frost, Walker, Eagles and Skinner you wonder how many we keep if they do not get a run.
3 of the list are yet to play a senior game Ballenden, Lyons and Hinge. A few played none or hardly any games in 2018
You would assume its the last year for Hodge.

Although with 22 player OOC its a lot and not all are starting 22 as well. A few got dropped for at least a game in the magoos.
So you wonder how many are here in 2020.
You wonder if it is done on purpose so a lot of players are pushed to play for their careers.

Archie was on the list incorrectly - he's contracted to 2020.
