I guess 2 ways to look at it.

It's not out of the realm of impossibility to envisage Rohde cutting such a deal given his penchant for long term contracts.

But the figure could also be the result of the reporter using their "creative" license to justify a player leaving one of the Victorian power clubs.

I love Surj, I wish I knew more about his knee because it really sounds like it's reasonably terminal.

Every time he tweets its about missing home, so I wouldn't be surprised if he left. Good bloke, played an absolute ripper year in 2007. Starting in the back 6 for that fateful day in September. I question how he could have fallen so far. Surely mismanagement? Was also a leader in the 2010 season. This one stinks a little I feel.

On that topic, what the hell did we do to Pettigrew, Salopek and Surjan? They all started on the farking ground for all of our finals in 2007!

Why does anyone want Monfries? If we're going to take a small forward who can't crumb I'd rather just keep the one we already have. 4 year deal ... lol.

He hasn't fallen at all. 3 out of his last 4 years have been fantastic when he's fit enough to play.
