A write up this morning said he could slip till the 30s due to injurys and maybe injury prone.
Could be a high risk but a very high reward also. was tipped, on talent, to go top 5 to 10

Micheal Close CHF of Vic country, can run and run and run (2nd/3rd rounder)

Last year there were 4 that caught my interest, sad midfielders and flankers deep draft is sad

Wait, Whitfield at 4? If we somehow got a PP and pick 1, then we'd definitely take Whitfield and we'd be fools not to.

The most I can see PP style is us getting one after our current pick, so picks 7 & 8. If that happened, I hope we'd take the risk on Stringer.

Yeah true, but still i've watched a handful of games at U18's SANFL level and most of the Champs games none of the KPD's except Plowman i did forget him intrigued me,

Spencer and Rodda with late picks makes sense

i reckon reports of gws getting the top 3 picks is a likely scenario. gc to trade for a mini-draft pick and melb to trade pick 3 for a mini-draft pick after gws dont bid on viney.

I think this is likely, as i highly think that Ablett and the rest of there concession pick ups contracts were front loaded that they would love to delay any resigings on guns until a later date

Sorry, I doubted Wingard would get to us, but there is not a hope in hell Toumpus will get to us. If GWS don't take him at 3, Melbourne HAVE to at four if Viney is not bid on by GWS, if they go for need and take Plowman or run the risk of Stringer the Doggies surely take him as a league ready footballer that has produced on the biggest stage outside of the AFL.

If Toumpus lands in our laps like Wingard did, the conspiracy theories will be out like 9/11 disaster or the Tupac murder!

if he wants out to richmond and we can swing their 3rd round pick ( which should be in the 50's?) or 4th round pick and we can use that pick on a key defender in the draft like corr or rodda or someone like mcdonough/ marschall than ill be a happy man.
