I know there is a very broad thread discussing everything about our list, however I'd like to start a specific thread regarding who us (supporters) would like to see delisted, traded or retired by seasons end.

The sheer volume of numbers of who we think should go by seasons end will be interesting.

I picked 9 players all up, and it was actually realistic.

Cox, Glass, Butler should all retire. 'Should', but i doubt cox will. Waters is also in that group for mine.

Delist, Hill, Mcginnity, Smith, Brennan.

Trade Gaff. Not because i think he's terrible, but i don't believe we will miss him and that he has a reasonable value to his name which could help our team move forward.

Pretty much sums it up, but Gaff wouldn't give us value on the trade table so unless we except a pick in the twenties which I don't agree with then he stays.

Yeah, it would have to be a reasonable deal.

Just pointing out that i see Gaff as a replaceable player i guess. So if the right trade came up, i'd take it.

I picked exactly the same except not Gaff.
Who knows, in a year or 2 he might actually show the talent we know he has. He might bulk up a bit.

Because he's trade bait, similar to Shuey and Selwood and I'd keep them over him. You have to give up something to get something better.
What would you guys consider a fair trade for Gaff?

Jed is referring to Masten.

But for Gaff i'd consider a late first rounder/early second, or a package deal for a player who might address our glaring needs more.

Gaff + Draft Pick for Player X

I've mentioned as much on the Draft/Delist thread. In fact these threads should probably be merged.

I reckon We could get a Vic club to pay overs for a gaff or shuey. I'd actually be more than happy to trade shuey.

I just don't seem to think he has another level to go to. He's not big, not consistant and not a hard worker. He is in the team as a polished midfielder. Will never be an in and under ball winner and will never be a pendlebury/Fyfe type.

If we do pick up some gun mids I just don't see a position for him.

I think cox and glass are fit enough to potentially play on.

Last year we had six retirees and two delistee's (total of eight), so I can't see more than four or five departures at the end of the year.

Glass will retire, that is certain for my liking.

Given the oversupply of medium size defenders and general ability Brennan and Smith are definite's to get the chop.

Butler is Butler and 2014 I think will be his last, he'll probably follow in Nicoski footsteps.

I'd put my money on those four.

There are quite a few with their careers up in the air at the moment.

Josh Hill has been dropped twice already this season, and may have played his last game at this level, he'll be sweating on the form of others to go to save his bacon.

McGinnity would be likely although I think there are others ahead of him.

We'll see what happens in the second half of the year, but if he doesn't play some good footy in the blue & gold Tunbridge could be history.

I know for a fact clubs have sounded out the management of Blayne Wilson, and I'd almost expect him to sign at another club.

Sinclair and McGovern would be the other two I think will see whats on offer from other clubs.

Gaff and Lycett could request to be traded back home, but I think Lycett will hang around.

I wouldn't say he's not hard worker, and I think he could develop into a Pendlebury/Hannebury/Fyfe etc... definitely more so than Gaff, Masten or Selwood

no way we would trade McGovern. He is our only KPF depth and after this week could be in the side permanently.Mcinnes would be the more likely to go but he would bring next to nothing.
Also I wonder who is rated higher by the club, brennan or Wilson.I think we should keep one of them at least for next year.I think ER has said that brennan has improved quite a bit this year in the WAFL

Bit surprised at the amount of people voting for Wilson.

Still, been on the list for 4 years now, played 7 games.

Just thought it'd be handy having him for another year if Glass won't be around.
Can't play tall, can't play small, the fact that we're using Brown to blanket Breust speaks volumes of how Brennan and Wilson are rated.

What has Glass got to do with Wilson? He's not competing with him for a spot. He's a slow and undersized defender when compared to Glass even with Glass losing his pace this year, he has no future playing on smalls or talls at FL level. It's simply delaying the inevitable if you keep him around.

Expect Powell and Barrass to step up next year and act as our KPD and third tall defender depth.

On WAFL performances Brennan is ahead. Had some good and bad moments this year, but is a lot closer to getting a call up than Wilson.

Brennan has above average pace as well which allows him to play a variety of roles in the backline without necessarily being a liability, provided his footy IQ improves (Which I'm skeptical about).
