Having looked hard at the list this is who is on the cutting board in the next 2 years
Main List
Newman (1-2)
Dea (1-3)
Batchelor (1-3)
Astbury (1-3)
McGuane (gone-1)
Tuck (gone)
Griffiths (1-3)
Nahas (gone-1)
A. Edwards (1-2)
King (1-2)
Helbig (1-3)
Derickx (gone-1)
Foley (2-3)
O'Hanlon (1-3)
Petterd (1-3)
Lonergan (gone-1)
Stephenson (gone)

Based on this, that is 17 players that are should be moved on in the next 3 years. This year will be a consolidation year where there will be few delistings/trades. But basically, we are still about 3 drafts from being a VERY good team. in 3 years time, Vlastuin, Arnot, McBean and Ellis will have 50-100 games between them and will be awesome players. Our next 3 drafts need to bag some guns or we will not be a chance of a premiership in that time. The list above are not good enough to take RFC to a premiership.
(Foley and Newman aside - Griff as well if he can get his body/head right)

Why is Elton seen as someone who's about to be put on the table?
Only drafted in 2011. Showed the goods in NAB Cup with his ability to create some opportunities, just needs to be move involved and be consistent. Seeing as he's a tall that'll take time. In the VFL he's also shown his ability to play at the other end of the ground. Good marker of the ball, good size. Was projected to be a first round draft pick.
Give the guy some time. Not everybody is Mcbean.

Why does Helbig get rated so highly on this boards? Everytime I've seen him play I've seen nothing.

yeah i will see a lot more of the reserves next year so i will see him a bit more.

Because he is a very hard-at-it, ball winning, clearance midfielder. But every time he plays seniors he gets lugged in to the back pocket.

Imo if he showed this, at afl level even at training, then he would have played plenty more games. Imo this is a little too simplistic. He could have plenty of games in front of others as an inside mid, yet didn't, so there had to be reasons why. Not saying he cant in the future but we are crying our for this type, hence the Adams trade, yet he doesn't get games. Why is that?

Was Foley fit for the finals? Aways thought he was an automatic selection.
Is he no longer in Dimma's plans?
Anyone got the info because I'm not up with it at the moment?

Was always going to struggle to come back from his injury. Will be much better in 2014 if he isn't involved in some trade.

I would be suprised if Dea is on the list next year. I know he's had some injury concerns but there comes a point in time where you have to cut a man loose.

Seems very highly regarded by coaches and team mates plus I think he will be at the very least a great player in the stand alone VFL side. I think he will stay.

Dea should stay, I like him into the future:thumbsu:, worse case scenario , value prospect where the team can be all stars, has ability IMO

Current unsigned talent:
Dea Nahas Helbig Derickx Arnot O'Hanlon

Current players lost:
McGuane(free agency) Tuck(retired) White(free agency)

From those 2 lists I'm tipping the final changes will be:
McGuane Tuck Nahas Helbig White Derickx

No. Helbig was one of the players that Dimma highlighted on B&F night, can't see him going anywhere and would be foolish to do so.

I reckon we should delist Lonergan, Stephenson, Petterd, Verrier, Simons, Nahas, Derrickx. Dimma won't delist his lovechild Petterd though
