I don’t see our midfield as a big concern. Rozee, JHF, Butters, Drew is a bloody solid core, with Wines and now even Mead providing good support.

Wing obviously needs some work, but I’ve still got hopes for Sinn and I’m still very confident we get Lukosious to fill that spot.

Small forward is the glaring deficiency to me. Our only small with real goal sense is Rioli, and he’s 28. SPP and DBJ can play a role and do it reasonably well, but even with Rioli playing we are still one dangerous crumbing small away from being a top scoring threat.

The Evans experiment is over and McEntee isn’t fit to tie Sam Gray

Mid - not sold on mead
Winger - boak.coming to the end and both Burgoyne and Bergman haven't set the world on fire.

Sinn is an interesting one. Needs to come on in a hell of a hurry and there's a spot for him now.

Agree we do need to find our wingers for afl level but we are going to bring in Rome Burgoyne in the draft, to add to sinn, Bergman, jase Burgoyne and will lorenz.

He’s a ball magnet and has played forward. He’s not going to be a 30 goal a year forward but he would be a good link up across half forward and has a very solid kick on him.

Out of favour at the dogs and been subbed a couple times. Wonder if he’s interested in a return home.

Without any inside knowledge at all I think Luko will be a Port Adelaide player at some point.

Logistically it makes sense for all parties and there has been noise for some time.

Slow, small, soft, no real goal sense, questionable work rate. The only box he ticks off as a small forward is that he is (very) small.

Not a heap of worse players available for that position.

2. ‘Winger’ Burgmann, Burgoyne, Sinn, Lorenz…
3. Just drafted Tommy A and Charleson, although Charleson looks to be plying his trade more on ball.
4. Drew, Mead, Jackson, Charleson.
5. ‘Elite’ ruckman grow on trees…

Priority should be Jack Lukocious, Kozzie Pickett, NWM, Matteas Phillipou, Harry Barnett, Harry Lemmy, Aishton Moir, but all for the ‘right price’.

Other than brining those lads back at a good price, just need to find quick blokes who don’t shirk a contest and work both ways, running all day. We have plenty of top end talent, unsure if we have enough Heart and Soul types.

The problem is convincing established players to relocate and live in Adelaide where both SA teams tend to focus on ex-pats.
Where you are crazy if you go chips all in each year.

Something from left field, I reckon Isaac Cummings is gettable where GWS have salary cap issues (at the end of this year) and being from Broken Hill, he would have local knowledge and appreciate the virtues of living in SA.
