A lightweight outside receiver who made his name as a linkman 30 metres out on his Pat Malone at the ponderosa was always a risk at AFL level, so unless he does something sensational in what is left of this so far sorry season the Hoon would have to be goneski.

I am more interested in what we could get for Mr Figjam Hartlett, ( who is arguably the biggest disappointment on the list ), but he at least should have some currency on the trade table.

Hard year given Hinkley is stubborn and has shown an inability to turn over players while by everyone's opinion this was suppose to be a year we challenged.

This just has to happen and I feel dirty for listing the first two. (Please kick 8 on us at another club butch, we deserve it)

Butcher
O'Shea
Monfries
Colquhoun
Stewart
Schulz
1 of Clurey/Carlile if we can't trade them.
Also don't think Lobbe can possibly be with us next year not sure how he leaves.
+ 2 rookies.

Everyone else is tradeable this year outside Boak, Hombsch, Gray, Dixon, Wingard and Wines. Delistings obviously rely on what we can do at the draft already without a second pick.

Why does everyone want to delist the Hoon/think the Hoon will be delisted? Has been more than serviceable this year in the seconds and is the exact type of depth player we need who can come in and perform a role if needed.

Would ah Chee be in any danger of being delisted?

Lol **** no

Is still only 22 (was bottom aged in his draft I think only qualified by a cpl of weeks or he would have been in the next draft.

Is likely our strongest midfielder through his core is a beast. Is averaging 15 possies and five tackles a game.

At worst he is excellent depth.

Best case scenario he is a top 20 midfielder In the afl. Not many of our players have a ceiling as high as he does. He may not reach that but we don't have many of any with a high a ceiling as him.

Serviceable is not acceptable. 4 years, no signs of genuine afl talent we need list turnover and quality players. Whether we like it or not we will have to compete with GWS for the next 6 years and they are running at about 30 deep.

Then sack Cripps then look at the list.
I'm just following on this one as I wouldn't have a clue if he's doing a good job or not. :D

To quote myself from 2014...

Luke Reynolds delisted off the Carlton rookie list. I'd imagine he would come home?

Maybe see how he goes back at the Magpies and look at him in future drafts?

Annnd 2013...

I'm well keen on Reynolds. I don't see him as a regular "medium forward" - I could actually see him as a player that would allow Schulz to play a more stay at home forward. Plays taller than he is, nice raking left foot kick, good on the lead.

I'd like us to rookie list Luke Reynolds.

Someone has to go and Colquhoun is yet another dwarf who cannot find and hold a regular place in an under performing Power lineup. If Colquhoun was put on the trading trading table at the end of the year would there be any takers?

The 'delisting clock' is ticking for both Colquhoun and Butcher.

Good call. I am not sure how we got Reynolds under the draconian SANFL Reserves Rules. I thought he might have to go to another SANFL club. Did he come home before the Reserves Agreement came into effect?

I agree that Reynolds is worth a Rookie Spot. Not sure why he wasn't on the Rookie List at the start of the year. He is under 190cm so that was in his favour.

Sam is still 21 and coming off a knee reconstruction.

Luke Reynolds was rookie drafted by Carlton in 2013 and must have let him go last year. A good long kick with clean hands. I do not know why Carlton let him go, anybody know? He wil be 22 next year if we get him. Time will tell if he is worth it.

Hoping we give Nathan krakouer another contract. Hoping that little incident at start of year doesn't affect his contract

Krakouer is now 28 years old and from here it is probably all downhill. Krak's best year was in 2009 and since then it has been downhill. If you look at his statistics they have dropped from a 19.6 average disposals in 2009 to 13.8 this year and that about says it all.

Let's face it, if Monfries had not been suspended and had White not been injured Krakouer would probably still be on the Rookie List. At the moment Krakouer is struggling to hold his spot in a side that will struggle to make the eight and if he goes back to the SANFL that may signal the end of the line. Personally I do not feel that the PAFC owes Nathan anything, he chose to leave then we chose to give him another chance at it, if he doesn't produce and the Club delists him that is not the Club's fault. Nathan has the rest of 2016 to get back to that 2009 standard.

If we are serious about building a list we should not be re signing 29 year olds who are going backward.

I don't think it will, wasn't smart being in the wrong place at the wrong time but no indications that he did anything untoward.

However if he plays more games like he did on the weekend that would be a bigger concern.

What has that got to do with anything? Sam is either good enough or he isn't. I will repeat the question if Colquhoun is placed on the trading table at the end of the year do you think there will be any takers?

You want to keep Colquhoun, Stevie wants to keep Krakouer and a host of others want to keep Butcher. At that rate we will not delist anyone and be saddled with the same inadequate list. From my own perspective I have stuck up for Lobbe and O'Shea in the past but I can see where both could be traded at year's end. If that happens and the list benefits so be it.

Sorry for the sermon but we need to forget about our favourites and look to building a list that can win a Premiership.

And a coaching team that can win a premiership.

Atm we look as if even if we had the best AFL players all playing for us we would still play inconsistently and toy around with the fringe players week in week out.

I dare say we will need 5-6 changes on the senior list

Our cracks run deep and we need a minor overhaul to reset

Agree on Krak queries, however, at least he is a well skilled player who can kick.

Butcher has to go 100% and Hoon would be under the pump esp with Bonner waiting in the wings.

yep

I like hoon's skills but I'm not sure there is room for a small, one paced player in our back line. perhaps in a midfield but we have loads of one paced players in our midfield already.

i have been a big advocator for taking our first rounder to the draft this year, however with GWS in constant need for picks for academy players and something like 8 or more former first rounders not getting a game each week, it could be a great opportunity for us to turn our first rounder (maybe a second from trading players out as well) into 2 or 3 former first rounders.
