The problem is the last few years has shown us we have too many players that show up when they want to. Especially against weaker sides and not the top sides.

The likes of Hartlett, Broadbent, Westhoff to name a few so we need to remove the inconsistent less competitive types and insert beast who want to compete to win.

I don't doubt all our players are cult Herod and good guys. If we we don't switch and mix it up we are going to get the same results.

Surely people don't want to same results for another 10 years?
I agree but of that trio I bet Broadbent is the only one moved on, Hartlett is on a fresh fat contract & Kenny loves Hoff.. We have to play Hartlett up the ground & get rid of others, I'd trade Hoff but I just don't see it happening

hoff needs to spend the majority of his footy in the forward line, like the first part of 2013. we're too reliant on him dropping back, & it's as if we've pretty much conceded when you see him in the back 50. that shouldn't be an option unless we're holding onto a 2 point lead in the final minutes of a game. teams have learnt that we're in retreat mode & they set up the big wall across our half forward line & they're camped in our 50. it's the type of proactive mindset we've had running through our clubs mind for two years now. leave him up front & i am pretty confident he would end up with 40+ goals. there is absolutely no way anyone could tell me jenkins is a better footballer than justin westhoff.

See we do agree :)

I can't see Hartlett going, you probably heard me say that on the podcast too.

We just can't stay the same. I'm aware we also can't hanged or change sake, but in this instance there are plenty of players who have had enough opportunities.

Anyone with 100 games plus needs to be closely scrutinised for the previous contributions and where they will take us going forward.

Rest assured Ryder as no.1 ruck will make a massive difference next year.

If we're serious about rebuilding our playing culture then Westhoff has to go. Isn't prepared or able to turn up week in, week out to get the job done. We're along way off the top sides now so some big calls need to be made and this is the obvious one for mine.

Won't happen though...we don't have the balls or self awareness!

Westhoff is untradeable - are people really suggesting we should go into next year with Dixon, Butcher and what ever kids we draft as our only Key fowards ?
I'd be very comfortable with that, and would be ok with Butcher going too.

Mosquito Fleet it for a year or two while young talls develop. Its not like we'd be sacrificing a working forward structure to do it.

how no to hartlett for motlop
motlop gives us more x factor, we only have impey
they are both very inconsistent, what is there to lose
also we have half backs in bonner, pittard, dbj, broady. we can also play polec off there if need be.

That would be ruthless enough but I can't see us doing it.

yeah i know. broady im probably very wrong on. There are just some payers that you constantly hold hope for. he is one of mine.
You wouldn't trade Broadbent for Motlop but you would Pittard ?

Broadbent isn't in the same league as Pittard

SURLEY YOUR TAKING THE PISS ?
.....to many people here jump onto single comments people make as a natural reaction.

plus this is less so about broady, and more so about pittard. I simply dont trust him and never will. He is a chook with his head cut off that too often turns the ball over. his price is high now so id like to cash in. SOme people agree, others dont.

meh!!

Pittard is a GUN and it amazes me how little some people rate him.
