Everyone likes to consider themselves a list expert on this forum, but how close to the mark are our posters? Let's see via a competition if you are willing to put your banter on the record.
Here are the rules. Once a poster says one of our players is not up to scratch and should not be on our list, that player is permanently struck from that poster's list. So if for example someone thinks Adams is no good at AFL level, Adams is permanently struck off the books for that poster and there is no turning back.
I'd like to see who we have left on the list at the end of the season according to each poster against the actual list.
If people would be so kind as to advise of such I'll update round by round if required. It will be interesting to see who is struck off and how those players fare subsequently as a Bigfooty record. Don't feel obliged to be an arseh*le and search for players to shit-can, although many posters don't need much encouragement.
You can save all or some of your deletions from the list until the end of the season.
I'll list the poster and next to their name the deletions, eg. Old Spice - Gault. I'll add names as they come in.
And please don't take this as an opportunity to barrack for player failure because you made a silly prediction early on. Take each round and long-term form on its merits. The final deletions need to be made a week after our last game.
The winner gets our esteem and the loser our derision.
Keep in mind I will be trawling the board for examples of posters wiping out players as no good and not deserving of being on our list and will take proof of such claims from other posters who view such posts. So if you go off half-cocked, too bad. It goes on your permanent record.
This will roll into 2015 so for those who choose a player to delist who is still in contract at the end of 2014, you get an asterix and that delisting punt counts for 2015.
