Worth a punt, there are so many guys in the USA who athletically would put Natanui to shame while being even taller... if we can work out systems to regularly develop them then look out because the flood gates may open. I'd bet most of them would do anything to get a gig in professional sport after just missing out on the NBA/NFL

Also on tac future stars Shifter said his agility tested in the top 20% ever tested at draft camp so is agile for a giant.

That Justin Wesley looks like a beast of an athlete wonder why he isn't getting the same attention even though he out reach's the sandi size giant in absolute vert leap by 11cm and is also quicker/more agile. Might come back to the endurance and natural ball handling ability of Cox??

Is coming to aus to test with 4 clubs this week Collingwood being 1 of the 4.

It's interesting that they aren't looking at people 6'2 to 6'6 range mainly ruckman 200-211cm mark.

I think you will find some amazingly good power athletes with excellent agility, sprint and vert leap a bit shorter who may be able to come over and impact the midfield or up forward as a leading fwd.

At the moment they are being very short sighted in the target recruiting of giants imo.

I guess they assume it is easier for an athlete to become a ruckman / key position player than say a midfielder etc. Look at Mooney on our list one of the most athletically gifted players in the AFL but most likely wont make it off the rookie list

I am only Worried about Port.

Actually it’s this week
im sure they Facilties have improved but i remember seeing an interview with John Mcarthy of him moving to port and the bloke interviewing him asking what it was like to going from the club with the best Facilities to the club with one of the worst, and he wasnt going to knock his club so he said he didnt know the difference but if Mason Cox wants the best Facilities for his development he would want to choose us. im confident he will choose us and i would like him to do so but if he doesnt i wont lose sleep.

Well I say we are the Front Runners for him.

By years end I can see bucks phasing out maxwell as well as Hudson, m Clarke and Q. Lynch.

Would be great to get some games into broomhead, scharenburg, freeman, Kyle Martin, karnezis this year. Josh Thomas and Adams need more and more experience. Frost, Langdon and witts are getting good runs now.

I've never been a fan of Blair/Sinclair/Kennedy (trade bait possibly??). Maybe even worth shopping goldsack around? Dwyer is just around for depth.

I think Bucks needs one more end of season ruthless list work.

We got to move heaven and earth for Dangerfield, pick up one more big bodied player and we will be back in premiership calculations.

So I just saw this posted on one of those Facebook Trade rumours boards. Yeah yeah I know, it's Facebook... but hey I thought I'd post it here for interest. Bolded is Pies related.

Victorian clubs are ready to pounce on home talent during the trade period, currently residing on Sydney and GWS's lists.

Tim Membry kicked 47 goals in his first season for Sydney's reserve side in the NEAFL, and so far has 33 off nine games this season. He stands at an awkward 188cm and 90 kg, and although not a key forward, is being heavily chased by Carlton and the Western Bulldogs with Geelong showing some interest.

Like Membery, Dean Towers is behind a long list of players who're currently ahead in the pecking order. Towers, a mature-age midfielder/forward blessed with speed and a terrific leap has drawn significant interest from St Kilda and Richmond.

GWS have a number of second to third year players, who've been earmarked to return home.

The highly regarded Kristian Jacksch has attracted interest from each Victorian-based club. Jacksch, a key position forward and defender finds himself behind a bevy of the Giants' big men, and would find greater opportunity back home in Victoria.

Former 2012 second overall selection and outside midfielder, Jonathan O'Rourke who has played just the three games has already singled his intentions to head home, and has been linked favourably to Collingwood, but would also attract plenty of interest from other clubs.

189cm, 86kg Matthew Buntine has attacked significant interest from both Geelong and Hawthorn is set to also be on the move. The 11-game defender was a former top five selection.

There could still be another Dom Tyson-esque surprise move, with Dylan Shiel, Jeremy Cameron and Jonathan Patton all linked to potential return's, however are all considered unlikely to move.

GWS however, aren't short of options either. The Giants have been linked to Collingwood defender, Jack Frost who is the older brother of the Giants' Sam.

Adelaide and Port Adelaide would be keeping tabs on former Glenelg youngster, now Collingwood player, Ben Kennedy who despite strong form in the VFL has struggled for opportunity in the senior side.

I would Love O’Rourke but Losing Frost would really hurt our KPD stocks

Very Intresting but Have to see what happens later in the Season before it can go more then just a Post on Facebook

Doubt Kennedy will go unless We let him go. Doubt that will happen

Expect most of it would be just talk at this stage. I'd rather Jacksch then O'Rourke without knowing much about either other than they both need to put on some weight. Don't expect we'd let Frost go (unless they want to swap Frost for Cameron!)

Well If Frost wanted to go to Giants and O’Rourke want to go to Collingwood that would be close to a Trade. We might have to Throw in another Player or a 2nd Round Pick.

Agree - That at the Moment it’s just talk and not much more

That's the third time I've seen the O'Rouke to Collingwood rumor pop up in the past week. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Though I can't say I'm concerned in the slightest at the Frost rumor one does wonder how we'd get O'Rouke over the line.

Though I am open to the possibility of moving Kennedy if a sweetheart deal came along that really does just read as a speculator comment.
