Goldsack has already stated he wants to remain a Magpie, but manager Anthony McConville said he and the club were “not on the same page”.

McConville said he was hopeful of striking a deal but adamant it needed to be fair to Goldsack.

“I am waiting on Collingwood to get back to me. At the moment there is a fair bit of daylight between what they are thinking and we are thinking. There is still time, but at the end of the day my job is to make sure Tyson is in a good place.”

Goldsack wants to remain a Magpie, McConville job to make sure Tyson in a good place (Collingwood is). Stop holding things up so he (McConville) gets a bigger slice of Tyson's bigger offer.

I've got a weird feeling he will stay and this fa period will be an immense fizzer.

Either way I'm not convinced he's worth what he would cost. It's the sort of play I could see Richmond trying though.

Beauty of Frawley as I understand it is he is unrestricted so won't necessarily cost a packet. Clubs with promise of finals & flag potential will get him cheaper than cellar dwellers. I think he'd be a good addition at the right price as I understand he is quality defender and reasonable swingman. Adds depth and flexibility.

Not convinced the guy is all that he is talked up to be.

Not sold on Frawley if guys like Cameron are in the market but I'd still take him, think he'd help mor than hinder.

One is completely irrelevant to the other. Frawley is a no trade cost potential option and might even help us get someone else if we traded out our equivalent player (Brown). Cameron is a sell the farm and mortgage the house prospect. He'd cost a pick we don't have plus a player we can't afford to lose before we even got to his long term high cost salary. I am all for taking the best players but not at any cost and I suspect Cameron's cost would be excessive on every front. Meanwhile chasing rainbows might cost us the pot of gold over the next hill. We will probably need our first round pick for Moore and that pick won't get near landing Cameron anyway.

I think we are better off for not having got Judd while Carlton are now back where they started.

Cameron might help win a flag more than Frawley when Frawley is sipping on vbs at the spud farm.

What the Giants want gets compromised by the fact they can lose him for nothing uncontracted next year.

Free agency may see clubs trade some players with a year to run if they think they are gone for nothing the next year.

Whilst Cameron is not a free agent the same applies with uncontracted players to a degree.

Hopefully nothing, as in he stays with us and doesnt leave.
But probably a pick between 20-30, unless there is any young talented players who are uncontracted from Adelaide.

Doubt he will leave as his BFF’s with Grundy and I dare say he is get’s along well with the other SA Boy’s in Broomhead and Scharanberg

We have Thomas and Adams anyway
