How did Josh Snith go for the WAFL? He looked really good in a Foxtel cup game against Willi a few years ago. Condition needed work but big and string with good hands - could do a Goodes/Jenny Craig and make it? Wasn't he listed by someone?

We need to target a cheap gorilla forward option, in much the same way we Targetted Young, Goodes and Lower. Someone who is threatening overhead. Unfortunately that person is not

Gumbleton might come cheap with Daniher firmly in essendons best 22 next year.

If not, is there a Pods Mk II running around in the lower levels somewhere?
Why do people still think gumbleton will be cheap? With the way he's playing atm, there's no way the bummers are going to let him go for anything less than what Melbourne paid for Chris Dawes.

Not to mention, he rejected us last trade period knowing the situation he was in at essendon. I doubt he'll even want to leave regardless of whether or not he's in their best 22 (and I'd imagine he'd be firmly in it)

If he doesnt want to come, then dont worry about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we recruited another inside mid, although one who has a bit of speed and good skills, rather than a flashy outside type that we all think we need.

st kilda aren't that bad yet, but once Milne/Hayes/Dal Santo/Koshitskie retire, they'll be pretty horrible
glad we'd passed on tom lee now to be honest, hasn't done anything overly special

Dunstan is very much a possibility for us if Aish and Boyd are gone imo. Wouldn't be disappointed.

Yep, like gumby, but no way he comes cheap any more. Best chance to get him was last off season when he rejected us.

As for Tom bell, does he really help us? Where would he play? Not sure he helps us fix our weaknesses.

Prestia would be great, but are there any lower profile, young players with potential that we could potentially get a bit cheaper that fix needs (running half-back, speedy small forwards or speed/silk through the middle)?

Brad Shepard from west coast off half-back? Leroy jetta can't get a run at essendon? Any interstaters that might want to get home? Would love a list of players off-contract (not just free agents).

Yeah thats who I had in mind while writing that. I definitely wouldn't be disappointed either but just imagine the meltdown when people find out we took an "inside mid" hahaha.

I think speed is overrated (although I wouldn't complain with a bit more on our list :p) but if our exact same team was playing good footy this year I'm sure speed wouldn't be mentioned at all, its more important how you move the ball, too bad we don't do either too well at the moment though.

Would probably like one more speedy wingman and small forward, and that would be enough, wouldn't complain with another fast half back flanker either though :p

You'd think Boyd would be gone at our pick. Perhaps our approach with Boyd should be sounding him out now for 2016 as a restricted free agent.
I'd think a fast and skilled midfielder of good character who is also predisposed to contested footy would be a good first choice. Another KPD would be good too.

i have this odd feeling we might draft a defender with our first pick
then aim for mature forwards in the later rounds

to give Talia and Roughie help in the future

I wouldn't mind another developing KPD on the list but I'd say we have bigger needs for the first round, wouldn't mind one a bit later in the draft though. I think if we really thought we needed one we would have taken Plowman.

Where do we see Roberts playing? I'd probably rather him play just at one end of the ground rather then swapping every week at VFL level but I'm really not too sure. Would like him as a KPD cause we would be pretty set for a while there, but also really like him in the forward line too.
