We still would have taken Sheed. Too much go home factor with Aish. Eagles have shown to be very wary of that in recent drafting.

The West Australian is reporting that Freo want to offload one of their spare rucks for an upgrade of their first round pick.

Eg Adeliade get Hannath and Pick 13 and Freo get pick 10.

Not sure how this will go down.

I would be fine with that. Gives us the backup ruckman we need who is ready to play, and sounds like pick 10 or 13 wouldn't make much difference anyway.

You got an extra second rounder by downgrading your first. you got the one you wanted with your first pick anyway and the extra 2nd rounder got you Yeo. if you don't agree with who you recruited fine, but we were talking about the producing of a second round pick out of thin air to get a player you wanted while still keeping a second round pick.

Reported in the Oz this morning that Richmond offered Reece Conca to the Eagles but initially the Eagles werent that keen. What do you think they asked for? Perhaps looking for pick 11 because theyare planning to use 12 on Trengove. Would have required the Tigers second pick too Im guessing if that is the case.

But I am curious that Conca was offered as opposed to the Eagles asking. Im wonderinf what it is the Eagles have that the Tigers want.

What is it with teams pulling the plug on solid players who were high draft picks in recent years? Trengove, Conca, Tyson all offered up despite seeming like they'd all be solid players at worst. Strange trend and some are going to get some real bargains.

We aren't pulling the plug on Trengove, Richmond came to Melbourne with the offer and Melbourne will only go through with the trade if it leads to a bigger fish.
