I'm not sure its relevant as there seems to be 2 different ages given in 2 different notices but a November birth 1897 and a Feb 1959 death makes him 61
ie one notice says 60 - and 62 in the next one - which is also wrong
Yet AF has the right age
I did notice that, and checked his birth reg. on BDM. It does seem to come late in 1897, so 4 November that year for a DOB seems quite reasonable to me:

Was it on the Corrections spreadsheet that was credited by... (I cant remember who, was it you, whoever the person doing all the qtr qtr changes were). If it isnt on there it will be on the next spreadsheet I sent with a lot of the 2024 and 2025 general footy changes down the track.Cheers

For instance, these updates to goals with first kick need to be reflected on Wiki please
If so does First Kick, First Goal now show Vin Crowe, Harry Hickey, Mick Mulligan, John Duthie etc etc?
Did those changes permeate through
2025 Season Guide?! No, they're not there.
It doesn't look like any of the 'new' names have appeared, and there's no asterisks added to the Samson Ryan entry.

Jack Meagher (SM) is currently listed as born on 23 July 1930 and possibly still living.
I went looking to see if I could find him (or a record of his death), and think there is strong evidence that he has been mis-identified in league records. It seems pretty clear he was born earlier than 1930...
Apologies for the long post but here is a list of articles outlining the football career of Jack Meagher.
COBURG (Played Rd 1-3 1946)
Apr 1946 – “New players to make their debut are … J. Meagher (Cob. Seconds), ”
Apr 1946 –“Jack Titus, who has a leg injury, has notified Coburg he will play when fit. He is convinced that Jack Meagher, new centre forward, will ably fill the position.”
LORNE
July 1946 – “Permits granted last night: to Lorne: J. Meagher (Coburg)”
CARLTON (never played a senior game)
Apr 1947 - Named on Carlton’s supplementary list
May 1947 - “HAWTHORN is interested in Jack Meagher, who has applied to Carlton for a clearance. Meagher, a half-forward, is on Carlton’s supplementary list.”
Mar 1949 - “Other players seen to advantage in the main match were Bernie Boxton (centre half-forward), Jack Meagher (centre half-forward)…”

In summary, not overly successful at a senior level but based on Sep 1953 ref born ~1926 - which correlates with him playing Coburg reserves 1945.

That April 1951 Cobram story also gives his age, though it suggests he'd have been born 1927-1928:
He's a hard man to track down! There were a few around at that time named Jack or John Meagher. The fact that this chap never seems to have stayed in the one place for long doesn't help!
A Meagher was playing for Commonwealth Service in the Saturday Morning League in 1947 also. So I presume that makes it likely he was a public servant. Could this be him?:
If it is J. B. Meagher this chap would be a fair chance, though he was a teacher in 1949, which doesn't seem to add up:
He played Seconds for Coburg as far back as 1944:
This also suggests he was born c. 1928, and has him living at St Kilda in 1951:
He coached Cobram in 1951, so may not have stayed (living) at St Kilda for too long.

Current records have Wayne Shand (Richmond) wearing jumper #45 throughout his entire career, but looking over Footy Records from 1983 and 1984, it appears he wore #30 in those seasons.

I posted highlights from the game, and a viewer commented on who Number 30 was as its not on AFLTables, and so Gigs went to the footy record of the match and Shand is listed.

Summary:
Bernie Lunn wore No.4 in Rd 15 - Rd 17 1925, not number 19 as currently on AFLT.
Lunn is listed as wearing Number 4 in Rd 16 1925 footy record, and so Ive made an assumption that he wore that number the week before as well and the week after.
That means however that Bob O'Neil's single game for Richmond in Rd 17 1925 couldn't be No.4 as well (as per AFLT), however as I am yet to cite Rd 17 1925 footy record I don't know what his number is, or if infact he wore No. 4
So I'm placing Lunn as No. 4 Rd 15-17, and leaving Bob O'Neil No.4 Rd 17 as well until the footy record surfaces
