Try and choose ones that aren't so well known. All of these have a larger harder edge to them

1. The Used - Liars for the Liars (2007)
2. Story Of The Year - In The Wake Of Determination (2005)
3. Fenix TX - Lechuza (2001)
4. The Matches - Decomposer (2006)
5. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Don't You Fake It (2006)

Love everyone of these albums to absolute bits

Feel like these are closer to alt rock/post-hardcore rather than pop-punk.

Most of the best pop-punk was definitely over with by the 00's. 90's were definitely the peak for that genre IMO.

If we're holding to pop-punk though I like the following:
Rufio - Perhaps, I Suppose (2001)
Millencolin - Pennybridge Pioneers (2000)
Can't think of many more off the top of my head as most it had passed I think.
For a more recent take on the genre, Luca Brasi are pretty good.

In more of the alt-rock/post-hardcore mold from that era:
Senses Fail - Still Searching
Brand New - Your Favourite Weapon
Circa Survive - Juturna
Saosin - Saosin
Any of Bayside's albums from the 00's have their moments
Emery - The Week's End
Emery - The Question

One of those genres though that heavily crosses over, and you could call lineball on a number of select albums.

Some of my favourites from that era:

Brand New - Deja Entendu
Brand New - Your Favourite Weapon
Blink-182 - Takeoff Your Pants & Jacket
Hellogodbye - Would It Kill You?
Say Anything - Is A Real Boy
Tigers Jaw - Tigers Jaw

Is A Real Boy is probably the gold standard for that particular period - elite songwriting.

Death by Stereo - Day of the Death (2001)
Death by Stereo - Into the Valley of the Death (2003)
Death by Stereo - Death for Life (2005)
Death by Stereo - Death is My Only Friend (2009)
The Exploited - * the System (2003) :)

Yeah I'm a DBS fan. Not sure if it is considered pop punk though. I think I saw them four times, fun shows.

Saw them play at The Arthouse in 2006 - They toured with Strung Out but I never have gotten into Strung Out and The Arthouse gig was the only one they played on that tour as a headline without Strung Out

Was still living in Adelaide back then so came over for it - Was a ripper set

Wouldn't call them pop-punk at all, though
