Mod. Notice Live Chat in Gameday Thread this Friday night.

Dees fans,

Over the past few weeks we have be running a live chat using CoveritLive on the main board during Friday night games to give supporters a different way to comment during the game. Some boards have also used it for their travels interstate (Hawks board) and the Lions board used it extensively during the NAB Cup.

Its posting in real time (moderated of course!); saves you hitting refresh a hundred times if you like posting while watching. We'll also provide the score in game and we'll make a game attempt at witty repartee along the way. The Dees board own Eth has been a key contributor over the past few weeks.

This Friday night the CoveritLive window will appear inside the opening post of the gameday thread here on the Melbourne board, the main board gameday thread and also on the gameday thread of the Hawks board.

If you haven't used it before it is simply a matter of plugging your username in and your message. It should appear reasonably quickly.

Sounds like a good option when you can't get to the game/a TV. I despise the AFL website's "Live" coverage and the chat function within that is an absolute joke - at least here there will be some decent comments/opinions.
