I believe Dangerfield's average will drop to 125. But Round 14 is way too late to get the best captain option available.

I think the only reasonable way to get him is to start a mid-pricer with the intention of upgrading them to Danger. e.g Coniglio averages 105, is 510k at Round 7. Danger averages 125 and sits at 675k. Kill a rookie, you've got a Danger. This doesn't really work with any other midpricer though. O'Meara could average 100 and be 450k at Round 7, but that would require 3 trades.

So the "No Danger" method is risky, costs at least 2 trades and if he goes nuts you'll never get him. I think you'll get some extra points early using 100k+ elsewhere as he is way overpriced, but you'll almost need to save some of the extra cash to plan to get him in. Or start with awkwardly priced 100-averaging shit trucks for culling. Last year's 65 was perfectly timed in R6 and he dropped to 560k, but you can't bet on that happening again.

Another thing I've been noticing with Danger/Dusty/Titch is that you are paying for the durability as well. 22 games a season, even with niggles, which is why Ablett has no value at his price.

This is precisely my plan in the end. Perhaps my O'Meara bashing won't go unnoticed in the end

SC 2016 a few campaigners jumped on him as a fwd/ruck swing at his highest price of 400k+ and they payed big time...
He got injured and loled them a 2 point SC game and the lolz are history..
These same fine kentlemen still feel the burn.. ..:fire:
I salute the...:moustache: and so I head long into that same void kentlemen but pay a much less riskier price of an expensive ròokie...wish us luck..I will need it.
Lycett is ****ing primed campaigner and you want in on some 277k weekly tonnage

He's that good I've got him at R1 & R2, I'd have him at D2 if he was available.

If, and still an if (GAJ round 1 dependant)
I don't start with Danger.
I will be looking to trade Redden to him first chance I get (round 6/7)

The game is grabbing the best performing players on the cheap as in where they show form then chuck in a shit score. But you gotta grab them before that shit score comes out of their rolling average.
Miss it and its all been a waste and a hard lesson.

EDIT I realise Danger never scores shit but like last year there was a chance to grab him cheap. This year he is 50k more plus Gary is back so it's not as risky as last year.

lol wut. It’s more risky. We can literally send him forward more often with another gun mid in the mix. Same applies to Ablett.
Our 2nd forward last year was Taylor and without Lonergan that isn’t happening this season. Lost Motlop’s goals.

We gotta find em somewhere and that somewhere is significant period forward from Danger and Ablett. If you want to hold off on a 30 disposal and likely 40 goal midfielder then go right ahead but I feel you’ll be learning a hard lesson. A very costly lesson.

Without Danger I can squeeze in Coniglio, JOM and Goldstien with a couple of minor rookie tweaks. With Danger in Lycett and Dow end up in my side.

I am not convinced yet. With Ablett looking more and more suspect I am now leaning towards getting him (Danger) back in.

Am warming to Danger Danger Will Robinson being in - I think this is pretty close to how my side will look come round 1.

I started with him last year.
He was 50k cheaper. He was finally home and ready to go off.
The best player of the last 10 years played for someone else plus J.Selwood was injured and had an interuppted pre season.

This year there's more competition for points with the emergence of Menegola and Duncan. Add Gary, a fit Selwood and 50k and it's harder to justify picking him compared to last year.
