Schoenmakers was barely in contact with him and lost all contact with him steps before he met Sewell. If they go to the tribunal with that he's just taking the extra week for nothing.

Perhaps you need the function of the Appeals process explained to you. An appeal relates to a procedural error in the tribunal. You can't just wander in there and argue the same case all over again.

Perhaps he didnt want to get reported and let his team down should be be required to play in the finals. Collingwood got sledged by Richmond fans for not getting sucked in a few weeks ago. A professional player tries to play by the rules so he doesnt let his teammates down. If Brown had gone the knuckle you'd all be having a go at him calling him a thug. Lloyd is in a bit of trouble, there is no doubt about it. I would guess he will be spending 2-4 weeks on the sidelines. I think the force of the impact will contribute significantly to the suspension.

The comments about it being a snipe are a joke. How was it so much different to Buddy? The force will no doubt be higher, but in every other way it should be judged the same. It was also contact front on. You don't generally shirt front someone when you are facing them do you? If you want to take someone out, you turn your body. But I'm sure all off the armchair experts who have never played the game know better.

I also find the hypocrisy of Campbell Brown of all people coming out and saying that Lloyd is a sniper hilarious. Pot kettle black maybe? Remember the so called 'line in the sand game' Campbell? Short memory hey, you have proven yourself to be a peanut on numerous occasions.

The other thing I find hilarious are the people who whining about 'the bump is dead' last week, and now want Lloyd gone for many more weeks. Make up your mind you morons, you can't have it both ways.

Have to say that there was a push in there, and the contact was completely unavoidable, if anything it does appear that Lloyd does try to pull up slightly at the last minute.

Meh, if I truly wanted to see a bombers sniper hit, i'd watch Michael Long's hit on Troy Simmonds in the 2000 GF. Now that was a true prick hit.
