What no mention anywhere from what l can see.
How come he has broken down again? Pushing it too hard?
No mention of it in the media? Why where is Rohan Connolly? Fat arse Mark Robinson?
This time the good hammy and out for 4 more weeks!
Is it time he retired?

I think Hird recovered from his first few years of captains disaster to play some good footy. ;)

Well if it's the good hammy then it's not that great a concern is it? It would only be a real issue if it was the recovering one.

He has got some sort of problem with the other hammy. At this stage it may not be a huge problem given the amount of time left before the regular season starts.
Not bad though bee dee you have finally got some Essendon gossip on the same day as it happened lol maybe soon it will be up to date and on time ;)

wrong did not happen today!!!

So what you are saying is that your news is still out of date , no need to shoot yourself lol
Given i saw training today and he came out with a limp and into the modified group i think it is safe to presume it didnt happen today.
I dont rely on second hand descriptions to get my Bomber training news ;)

Actually this happens a fair bit with players coming back from serious injuries. Often the so called good leg has some problems due to taking a lot of the load of the injured leg.

Good old Bruce the cabbie.
He is always giving Sheeds his opinion
Would hate to get in a cab with him, all he talks about is footy.
He is the ulimate expert:eek:

LOL it is funny when he is yapping to Sheeds , no one else will go near them for fear of not being able to break away :D

Give us a report on Gumby,Houli,Hislop and co....

I couldnt tell much more on them that hasnt been on Bomber Blitz ;) . Gumby hasnt been 100% , knee soreness just before christmas and not sure this week although he trained with the main group. Houli has beeen training like a machine, just gives 200% at everything. Davey has looked pretty good , fitness and skills both seem very good. Hislop looks a good type as well. Well built for a kid and has don nothing wrong on the track. Jetta has struggled with some of the endurance drills at times probably due to the virus he had 4 or 5 weeks ago. Reimers seems to be the kid you dont notice on the track which is probably a good thing as it means he isnt doing much wrong.

I remember someone on the radio bragging about that. We must kill him.

'Rob from Essendon' (regular caller to SEN) works for the same company i do. We have had countless conversations. Mate, i don't think i have ever met someone with as deep a hatred of Sheedy than that bloke. When it comes to Sheeds, we could argue for hours!

But he does share my opinion of Bolton!!! :thumbsu:

I thought this was going to be a serious thread until I saw that bee dee had written it.

Apparently our assistant coach Shaun Rehn said Lloyd was lucky not to injure his hammy in Round 22 last year while playing in Hird's last ever game as part of the pact they had.

Rehn also said that the club has still not been able to entice Paddy Ryder to come to Melbourne after quitting the club early last year and staying in Perth due to homesickness.
