Brown, fantastic, dominating power forward and Bradshaw who stepped up amazingly last year vs Lloyd-Captain of the diving squad and Lucas who is getting on a bit but none-the less is a good solid player.
If Brown and Lloyd swapped teams then Brown would be considered a superstar and be called the best player in the league etc etc and Lloyd would kick about half the number of goals because he wouldn't get any free kicks!

let me get this straight, Brown isn't considered the best player in the league becuase he plays for Brisbane? and Lloyd only gets free kicks because he plays for Essendon?

Just out of interest what "flexibility" would that be?

Lucas won a best and fairest in a top 6 side as a CHB in 2003 and was stiff to miss out on AA.

Nice to see the poll is reflecting the fact that Brown & Bradshaw (or B1 & B2 ) are arguably the best forward pairing in the league.

Career wise Lloyd and Lucas easily.

Compare what Lloyd had done to Brown at the same age that Brown is now and it's a no contest.

Brown is a great CHF but is way overrated with what he has actually done - mainly because he shares so many characteristics with Carey. Needs to put a couple of dominant seasons together to prove he's worth the hype.

Lucas also kicks more goals than Brown playing the same position though Brown is better due to his physical presence and contested marking.

Bradshaw is good but not in the class of the other 3.

This season will be interesting though. I'd still go with Lloyd and Lucas. Lloyd and Brown will be about even if both are fit, though Lloyd will kick more goals, but Lucas should again shade Bradshaw (especially if Brown is taking his favoured FF spot).

IMO Brown>Lloyd but Lucas>Bradshaw.

Lucas plus Lloyd > Brown + Bradshaw because Lucas and Lloyd work better together, I feel that Brown and Bradshaw compete more for supply. While often Lucas supplies Lloyd with long kicks from the wing.

Lucas is definately better than Bradshaw as he had more goals, marks, kicks than Bradshaw and he does more damage with those kicks.

Now people are saying that a multiple AA, Coleman medallist, 100+ goalkicker is worse than a bloke who from season to season has exponentially played less games, has never kicked above 40 goals and is yet to dominate a season, let alone win any individual accolade? The same bloke everyone expected to kick 8 goals against the Irishman?

Next people will be saying Brown is as good as Carey was - oh, sorry, that has already happened.
