Maybe they are waiting for closure or proceedings on a trial for more possible information?

Maybe there were peripheral players? Then a main perpetrator? You would think the existing DNA collected would be declared as eliminated by the investigators by now?
One would hope but , you never no the .... could of sanctioned the killing .
My question to you mr is this , what and who did they arrest or speak to in the proximity hours before , why did they get called etc etc
There’s a hole in my bucket dear Melsy

An investigation by the Western Australian Corruption and Crime Commission later cleared two police officers of "any serious misconduct" after their behaviour in threatening a female lawyer had been described as ranging from "inappropriate to reprehensible" by the trial judge. A second matter reviewed by the CCC related to "attempts by a third officer to encourage an independent pathologist involved in the case to change a report to better fit police evidence. That officer was found to have acted unreasonably."[34]

A murderer, or murderers are running free...
Seeing as no one is in custody over the matter I would say that is a fair assumption.
The police are still monitoring Rayney on the daily, who knows who else they may be keeping an eye on.

Corryn was murdered while Loyd was representing a police officer in a CCC investigation into some of the crimes in this forum

Given what's going on in Victoria, with informers right through our legal system including clerks of court with access to personal information even the police can't get it's probably not ott outrageous to ask if Corryn might not have been involved in something similar.

Being a prosecutor would not make any friends. Evidence eludes to a sexually motivated attack.

"The 49-year-old man was living with a convicted sex offender near the Rayney home when she was murdered.

The sex offender’s past includes the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl and the rape of a 29-year-old woman."

"Justice Martin said adding weight to an alternative killer theory was the fact Mrs Rayney’s body was found with her fly undone, the zipper stuck, her belt removed and her boots taken off.

Her shirt had been torn and pushed up beyond the level of her bra and saliva had been found on her neck and the entrance to her vagina.

Justice Martin was scathing of the prosecution for failing to disprove a sexually motivated attack."

If you were not in the loop, killing the man's wife, who put you in jail might be an easier target. A life of suffering.

Rayney was also asked if he was in a homosexual relationship.
Do you have a link for that? The question might also have been asked if Corryn was having an affair with another woman as well.

Saliva .. DNA?

Or aware of others who feared exposure.
We only found out couple of days ago that not only lawyers are betraying their clients privilege working against them for the police but officers of the court as well.

It is now apparent that this perversion of justice runs deeper, wider and longer than was first imagined. Other lawyers are said to be involved in dishing-up their clients to the police, and not just in Victoria. How far it has spread is for now a matter of conjecture. Are any judges in on the racket?

They have an obligation to uphold the law. An obligation to the court.

The sniveling rat? Who said that?

They have failed in that clearly by compromising the integrity of the court and justice. That's what is meant by their duty to the court.

On this, always refer to the recent high court rulings.

I'm proposing a theory that Corryn was having an affair with another woman (someone's wife), not a man and she was with her after the line dancing class. They either know it now or they're hiding it. She was murdered over something to do with her job.

I'm proposing a sexually motivated attack hasn't been presented publicly yet. Shirt had been torn.

The broader context of the crime appears not to have been explored, well, publicly announced.

"police named him as the "prime" and "only" suspect in the murder of his wife"

Mr Rayneys wife, Supreme Court Registrar, wife of a Prosecutor would be an extremely attractive target to a criminal who might stalk and predate her as a target.

The perfect vengeance to someone put away by Rayney int he past.

Even then someone might find the Registrar of the Supreme Court an attractive target because of her employment position for a number of reasons.

The registrar is a Chief Executive officer of a judicial forum. They are the in charge of the entire registry of the department.

In common law jurisdictions, registrars are usually judicial officers with the power to hear certain civil matters such as interlocutory applications and assessment of damages. In some jurisdictions they may also hear trials of cases if both parties consent.[1] Registrars are assisted by Deputy-Registrars, who in common law jurisdictions are sometime called masters.

How did you come to this theory? Was she known to be bisexual? Was it someone from her bootscooting class?

Registrars are also engaged in pre-trial work and are responsible for case management. A civil action which is commenced in the Supreme Court is managed by a Registrar, unless it is entered into the Commercial and Managed Cases List in which case it is managed by a Judge. Some Registrars are qualified as mediators and mediate matters when ordered by the Court. Registrars are also taxing officers and make rulings on matters about costs.

Who had she been dealing with that would want to harm her?

What I was implying is that if I were working with nefarious people and had a need for nefarious services then I would perform a service for that person at a heavily discounted rate so while no money has changed hands there has been a quid pro quo.

I'm basically insinuating that Llyod didn't kill his wife.
Like a bit of contra from some criminal campaigners?

The interesting thing is, a lot of people have disheveled marriages. Not a popular person for numerous reasons. Wife disappears in an ACCC Inquiry into police conduct of some criminal investigations.

Having your house bugged - your wife goes missing conducive to suspicion.

The thing is, who might have the capacity and skill-sets to monitor a court prosecutor and the registrar of the Supreme Court?

He had a police IT guy at the time bug the house, but was he being listened in on by someone else? Police IT guy suspected of selling prescription drugs in another government department after shifting departments.

Corryn was taken from a boot-scooting night in Bentley community hall. A registrar of the Supreme Court abducted. Corryn wasn't a nobody. Corryns face was familiar with many criminals.

Were Corryns travels being monitored by others? Was Corryns life bugged by other than her husband? The Rayney household worth bugging for court purposes. A prosecutor and a registrar.

Was Corryn a political trophy for someone? Some criminals would be aroused by the thought of murdering a prosecutors wife.
None the cameras working all the way there. What such luck.

A Supreme Court Registrar might be quite the trophy for a rapist murder. Bury her upon Mt Eliza.

Can I just ask, what are the theories behind the differences in whether the car was travelling forwards or backwards to the gravesite? Have just read through the thread with a large dedication to this point, but unsure why, as the car was found around the corner and involved in dumping the body. Just struggling to see the relevance. Am I missing something???

If the answer is within the 60 Minutes episode, please don't make me watch it. I don't like watching the Sunday version of A Current Affair.....
