Now form I can forgive - he does indeed have runs on the board.

But that argument stands for fck all when it comes to being captain. He talks the talk. That's it. Worried about him being captain when Hird was still in the job, when he took over, it seemed he was stepping up. Now, not so sure.

A captain that looks at the unpire for a free while running for the footy - well, you can say that is not acceptable as a player - BUT HE IS THE CAPTAIN. That is disgusting as a captian.

My advice to Matty woud be - get your highlights reel from 97-99 and look at what you used to do.

All he seems to do now is try and lead his opponent under the ball and double back, pointless.

yes it has been shit but he has to deal with it right now, fev won the coleman even with carlton's crap midfield
As captain right now he has to stop appealing for frees and get on with the game,
the umpires were disgraceful but that gives no reason for lloyd to appeal for every free kick.
It's frustrating to see that buddy gets away with it so many times.
there were many instances where he shoved ryder in the back and didn't get a free paid against him, he clearly shoved paddy into the pack waiting for the ball to go over their heads for an easy mark. The lack of consistancy frustrates me.

Some of you were pretty quiet during the first half of the season. It's easy to point the finger after 2 ordinary (the latter of the 2 his worst) game(s) as captain. The other players mentioned have had more shit games in the last two seasons than Lloyd has had over his whole career.

He still one of our best tacklers at the club and has given off more goals as I can recall him ever doing. Something that even Gary f--king Lyon mentioned a few weeks back on footy classified.

Did Fev have another power forward rotating through CHF and FF who was kicking more goals then him? It's unfair to say this as Lucas has been in really good form especially after he had to be our highest scoring forward last year.

Now, now, don't get all prickly. He has been ordinary for most of the year, not just last week. His constant display of poor body language and ill discipline is a slap in the face of his own demands on the team. I was angry with what I saw on Sunday. Mainly because I know he can do so much better. That's the reason I've been getting into him this week.

I've liked Lloyd as much as the next person, but I agree, I do *not* like watching him go to ground only to be too far behind his opponent when the free doesn't go his way and play quickly resumes without him. I just don't get that and it's a disappointing way to play the game IMO.
