First it was Lloyd is a joke and kicks many of his goals from frees.
Then after they were given statistics on Lloyds career free kick ratio they went to "he might not kick goals from frees but he dives too much"
Now they have back tracked even further and are saying that Lloyd only kicks goals because his tem mates recieve free kicks down the ground. Surely you are not serious?

Lloyd is a victim of his own diving. You watch what does not get paid to him, it's laughable. any other full forward in the league would have gotten at least three- four mor frees last night.
Your lad did great on him, moreso I think because of the shocking delivery from upfield. You guys showed how the ball should be kicked to a forward. Kudos on that.

You may want to re-read my posts. I have never said that Lloyd scored a goal directly from a free kick. I did say how it was a disgrace when he thought he was about to get touched and dropped like a bag of spuds playing for a free kick. He was never given the free kick nor did he deserve it.
Also Walls comment was in reference to a mark that Fevola took, not a free kick he was deserved.

I know exactly which one you are talking about. You are talking about the incident where Fev cannoned straight into the back of Michael. Obvious free kick and the fact that Fev didn't argue it (for a change) shows that it was obviously a free to Michael. Atleast try pick a contentious decision when mounting an arguement.

Did you ever think maybe he didnt argue because he relises he is playing Essendon and will get a free or two against him? and you are just using an emotive word in "cannoned" he didnt cannon into him he was side by side with him and he put his forearm into Michaels side which in the rule book is legal. thank you, you are just to stupid and too biased to admitt it

He didn't argue not because he thought he was guilty. Look at his body language, his was fuming up inside. It was just one of those occasions
where realises the best thing for the team is not argue with the ump but instead work harder to get the ball back. Which he did.

It might pay to read my posts as i have clearly indicated that Lloyd dives at times. This has nothing to do with your ridiculous OP stating that most of Lloyds goals are from free kicks.
You have been given detailed descriptions of every one of Lloyds goals last night as well as career statistics on his free kick ratio which both categorically prove you wrong yet you choose to argue the point and make you look even more foolish than you made yourself out to be after your first post.
It is one thing to be upset and disgruntled after a loss but you have just proven yourself to be a bitter poor sport who clearly pays more time abusing the umpires than actually watching what is happening.
It was interesting to note that Michael Voss, when asked whether Lloyd dived, didn't hesitate to say yes. What I have noticed over the last 3-4 seasons is that as soon as Lloyd realises he can't take a mark, his automatic reaction is to collapse & dive forward. Experienced defenders know this & consistently run off him when the ball hits the ground.
Lloyd was a great FF at the peak of his career, but in these latter years he has become much more one-dimensional, hence why the inexperienced Jamo was able to do a good job on him last night.

Fev may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but very occasionally he does pull out a few games here and there when he decides to do the team thing first. If only he started to do this consistently.

Honestly if u cant take the truth then just go back to your board. You know deep down what player lloyd is and you know deep down freekicks got you over the line last night.

carlton are losers and sitting on the bottom of the ladder where they belong.
Just great to see people frustrated over Lloyd as usual. He is a champ and the best goalkicker of the last decade. Wipe away those tears and admit it and you'll be a happier person.

This year both Fevola and Lloyd average the same amount of frees (1.7) and over their careers they also average the same amount of frees (0.9) yet it is always Lloyd that is favored by the umpires?
I guess only Fev knows the answer to this one for sure.
Your point? Fev's attitude doesn't take away from the fact that his gentle (2 can play this euphemism game) bump on mal should have been paid a mark.
