It bloody hurt. Only been involved in a worse day of cricket a few times playing junior country week. Not much we can do now but move on. Young side, Its gonna happen. Speaking of country week. Anyone know what the senior teams for this year are?

Not sure theyve picked a side yet. Gibo and Col Burrows ran the show last year.

Thanks for that scumbag. Never once have we thought we were going to win the flag or get close to it. We have come into the season wanting to win more games then last year. I hope you don't think your one of those 2 teams vying to win the flag? Even though you smashed us, I still don't rate you better then the top 2 teams. Your bowling was pretty impressive, But the batting left a lot to be desired. Or are you actually giving Warby a crack at the flag after bagging them all season?

No doubt the standard has dropped away more this year than any other. If you look at the players who arent playing its hard to argue otherwise.

Country Week opening bat Wooris top two or three for ten years.

Mt Ev - Muggsy

Premiership player coach number three bat.

Thats a lot of the top cricketers gone and weve had no one of note come in. Clubs are struggling with numbers in the lower grades also.

Didnt have tilney though and he is bowling a treat this year. Batting is improving and plenty of blokes making runs in an undefeated 2s team so the depth is there as well.

Seville play for B grade flags. None of them are up to A Grade or theyed be in there. The team up the road play and win A Grade. FFS who knows how or why.

Yeah, Got each other this week. Should hopefully be a better clash then last time. Apparently the Valley got done by a Run, Good effort to get that close.

Chasing 186 needing 2 off the last ball they got a single. So they lost by a run. Then they checked the score books and both books bowling added up to 186. Both batting added 185.

So the bowling said a tie mean YV would win as they finished higher while the batting said YV lost by a run.

In the end they went with the batting who the f$#k knows why and gave the game to Benalla.

Nothing to interesting considering who Warby were playing. Apparently its ok for them to have 38 year olds play in the vets because they arent any good. But we arent because our 38 year olds are to good.

Remembering that you have to be 38 to play vets and no one really cares who wins apart this particular team.
