whenever i work in midland area, without fail we always see 'completely ripped to the **** woman'. she is a killing machine.

there's also a crazy cat lady in midland.

many characters in that lovely part of perth.

There's a crazy dancing headphones guy in Perth too. Usually see him at the train station. A couple of weeks ago I saw him somewhere completely unexpected - can't remember exactly where it was now, Scarborough or somewhere. Not long after I went into the city, and there he was again.

Haven't seen Mad Dog in years, I thought he was dead.

Peter Fahey used to be a regular years ago - he was an absolute disgrace of a human being. Had no legs, was in a wheelchair which he never got out of - even to shit. He'd just shit in the chair and sit in it, and if you were especially lucky he'd throw some at you.

That's her off the scooter according to another forum. Looks exactly like her, but I don't like getting up too close to tell if it is or not.

Looks like Perth is the wierdo capital of Australia.

There was another wierd bloke that used to ride around on an old pushbike in the Mt Hawthorn/Leederville/Subiaco area dressed in all black clothes with died black hair, black fingernails etc. Never saw him wear anything but black pants, black shirts/jackets/jumpers even in the middle of summer.

KG from Adelaide.

Not sure what's happened to him since he left radio.

used to be a nutjob that dressed up in full nazi commandant SS uniform and ride the trams and walk around the streets of East St Kilda, Balaclava & Caulfield.

Not a very smart thing to do on many levels but for those of you that are not from Melbourne these suburbs are the jewish neighbourhoods of melbourne .... it was lucky he never got lynched .

bam right on the money - sept when I see her in Subi shes riding a bike.

There is also the Jesus guy of Scarborough WA - Cant exactly remember his story but hung around the bus stop at scabs and would tell anybody who was willing to listen his story of seeing Jesus in his bedroom or some shit.
Funniest part was he would catch the bus so he could finish to story with the people he was telling it to, but straight after catch the next bus back to Scarborough..

We used to have an old lady who hung around the bus stop. If you made eye contact she would spit on you. So you were fine once you knew, but you'd see random people make the fatal mistake and you just knew what was about to happen.

Used to be a woman in Frankston. Massive Port Melbourne and COllingwood fan. Walk past her and say 'Go Tiges/ or Go Preston' and she would go off her tree. She ALWAYS wore her colors and I imagine a few of the older posters here would know her, especially Port and Collingwood supporters.

But feel that is more for the pick on the 'not quite there' thread instead of the weirdo thread. Although it's a fine line. She was tough though, and would fight for her teams win or lose. Great fan.

Haven't seen him around much lately. I know he's from the country; Is he not spending as much time in Adelaide as he used to?

He's back on radio now. Has his own show called Strike Me Pink on Triple M.

I don't know why, but I always thought it was a bit sad that he got axed from doing the weekend sports report on the Channel 9 news.

:thumbsu:
Haha
Always with the shorts and blue t-shirt
Can move, too.

Ever seen him actually go into a shop? I haven't.

We've got one of these guys here in Adelaide too. He alternates between a black tophat and Crows beanie, walks really quickly down the mall, grumbling and mumbling loudly while lighting/smoking a cigarette and listening to metal music full blast through headphones.

A couple of other good ones from the Adelaide CBD are the fat xylophone/keyboard player, and the long-haired guy who really rocks out on his electric guitar in the middle of the mall.

Having gone to high school and now university in the city, I've noticed a the same quirky homeless people wandering around the CBD for the past decade as well, and probably had a chat or some sort of encounter with all of them at one point or another.

We used to have a couple of funny ones in my area when I used to live closer to the city. I lived at an intersection on a main road, and there was an old guy who'd wait around on the corner, and then approach cars that had stopped at the lights to ask for cigarettes. He disappeared once I was about 8 or 9, so I assume he passed on.
There was also this tall middle-aged hippie type, with long-ish grey hair, kind of looked like an ageing Jesus. You'd always see him walking along the footpath on the main road, with his fabric carry bag and sandals on (no matter what the weather). I'd often see him at the local library, not borrowing books, but puzzles.
