Logged in as someone else

When I logged into bigfooty today at VUT library it said welcome back Rohan_, whats up with that? I felt insulted, i mean people could have thought I was a collingwood and liverpool fan. I am going to take legal action, i will sue bigfooty for defamation.

I have heard a quite a few people say they get logged in as someone else. Can you post as that person and more importantly can you that persons PM's?

Isn't it just recognising the IP address of the server? Anyone who used this computer (at work) could post under my name.

I totally agree with you about the Collingwood thing, but there's nothing wrong with being known as a Liverpool fan!!
