Orbit is another brand of Wrigley's gum, I don't know if it has ever been sold in Australia but it looks like they got the new Orbit logo and just slapped the word Extra onto there, perhaps for branding purposes.

Didn't Carlton have their 150 years logo on the board behind Bolton today?

Just Googled Bolton's name and no trace of Carlton's logo on the hording.

There wasn't any Carlton logos on the advertising board behind them, but the 150 years logo was definitely on the cloth draped over the front of the table. Can't find a pic anywhere though.

Looks like it might be some sort of pennant hanging on the wall. Given that there are others for the Hall of Fame, they could explain it as just being there for memorabilia purposes. However, given the table cloth as well... I'd say its a lazy oversight.

Maybe they're going to do a progressive rebrand like BASF/Emtec did?

For those that are young, the above picture is for tape cassettes. We used to listen to music off these in walkmans. They would play the music in order, and if we wanted to listen to the same song again, we'd have to rewind the tape. :D :p

That's how I knew about it. I used to buy their blank CD-R's and saw it there.

It's stayed in my mind because I don't think I've seen a rebranding done in that way, before or since.
I think I've seen a few. Didn't they do that with Sydney Trains and CityRail too or something similar? I've seen a few "x is becoming y" type rebrands, but not as drawn out and as co-existent as EMTEC-BASF.

I guess with such a small change you don't really have to rebrand everything.

As can be seen in certain franchises, such as Jims, a minor logo change an the vehicles with old logos don't change, but anything new does, plus anything official at HQ.

It looks much better than the old by just using more colour, good change IMO.

Speaking of the Carlton logo I don't get why they have the previous monogram on it instead of their current one
They have a two monogram system. One on the logo, one one the jumper. Plus the current jumper monogram looks terribly asymmetrical on the logo shield thingy.
