The football club I support changed badge's last week, the left was the old and right the new. Was interested in a change but I don't like the updated version. Was hoping for something more traditional.

HC Admiral Vladivostok are a new team in the Kontinental Hockey League. Apart from using Impact to spell out Admiral, I think it's quite nice.

I think something similar would work fine, but give it a cartoon hand (ren/stimy's hand) and a few gradients (black to white ones) and it will be perfect

I just hope no one takes me seriously this time..

What about using and tweaking The Port Club logo?

Also, the new Optus logo looks like a ripoff of the Lottery West logo for WA users.

People have been talking about a new Port Adelaide logo for a decade but despite several terrific entries in LogoOTW week 1, I've never seen anything that tops the current logo apart from the hat monogram

Nope, most entries in LOGOOTW week 1 were better than the current logo IMO.

I don't think so. The current logo is actually pretty good. Represents us well. The only real issue is that it looks outdated.
