The "Red Label" text is red though, but most RTD (ready-to-drinks) are focusing on the mix rather than the spirit. Smirnoff focus on the "Ice" on the Double Black, rather than the "label" quality of the spirit, because if you're having an RTD you're not focusing on the quality of the spirit. Hence why you won't probably see a "Blue Label" can of Johnnie and cola

What can you say? I'll admit I noticed the change in the top-left corner as soon as I loaded the page this morning, but it did take me more than a few moments to realise what I was noticing.
Since then I've glanced through a few of the top articles on Google relating to the matter which all confirm the brighter red is a thing and intentional.
