The new PyeongChang Winter Olympics logo for 2018

Compared to some of the previous logos, that one is crap.

It's like they got 9 matchsticks, coloured and drew on them and then stuck the Olympic rings below them.

Didn't think the possible Liquorland logo could be topped.

I think that was the original pattern of a football ball, many other clubs have the same pattern on their logo eg, Man Utd. Chelsea

Exactly, it is meant to look like an old leather football.

My first post - thought I might as well post here first as i started the liquorland thread on australianinfront. Hoping to get more involved with the forums here, especially in the graphic design forum. Fairly new to the idea of forums and getting involved - a lot of unknown rules and different social conventions, hopefully I can get up to speed quickly!

Great to see the posts from Brand New up here - love that site. We're working on the logo for a VAFA team lately which is really exciting.

What did you all think of the Georgia Bulldogs rebrand? I can't help but see the previous dog as having suffered some form of stroke.

I like it but it's gonna have the same sort of hate as Footscray's robo-dog for mine.

In saying that, it's certainly a lot more tougher looking than other Bulldog logos.

It's a success for me.

Bulldog logos are one of the only ones where complicated, convoluted lines and shading actually look better.

Hey man. Welcome to the board. There are different Adelaide logos around the forum somewhere, though they might be hard to find.

Looks quite industrial - if it was Australia. Can't speak for whether the curved yellow triangle says 'industrial' in Germany
