Lol, Austin's logo is better than Adelaide's.

This is the logo I was refering to. The second one looks a lot like the Austin logo. The first two were logo put on this site before.

That's Mero 's crows logo, is it not?
No Austin Crows in the US Footy.
I traced it after they stopped using it and adopted the Adelaide Crow.
After a few years they returned to the Austin (better) crow

So hu
Yes the Victorian number plates changed way they are structured. The old letter, letter, letter, number, number, number system was fast running out of combinations. It was taking less than a year to go through every combination for a letter. The new system is said to have 45 times more combinations. The above number plates 1AA 1AA, were auction off on radio fetching over $140 000.
The slogan on the number plates have changed. Stay Alert, Stay Alive replaces The Place To Be which replaced On The Move which replace The Garden State.
So what's the new format?

Mostly why I put those USAFL logos up.

They are in USAFL and were National Champions last year. Their jumper is an altered version of Meros jumper.

New? That slogan has been on number plates for at least a decade...

But it is a terrible slogan. Haha
I know it is old, but I like to tease them for their slogan choice. They don't mined big noting themselves on there number plates. Last year they had Domin8 on the number plates in reference to the eight straight State of Origin wins.

It was decided a few years ago to stop using roman numerals when they got to 50. They didn't like that it was going to be Super Bowl L. This probably started at Super Bowl XL and the number looked more like a clothing size.

Also looking at logos from the United States here are the logos from the United States Australian Football League or the USAFL.

It looks like another design from this board has been used again with the Austin Crows using the Crow logo put on this board as an alternate Adelaide logo.
I don't see many copy's of afl logos here.

who are the Power?

It's mostly only the oldest clubs that are using AFL logos.
In the earliest days of US Footy the AFL paired up clubs with AFL clubs.
Essendon adopted Orange County, Melbourne got Boston, Philadelphia got Hawthorn etc.
As part of it they got to use the AFL clubs logo as well.
When more and more cities started clubs, for one there was less support from the AFL, but also they wanted their own identity anyway.
That's how you end up with the Fighting Squid and the Steelheads.

Up here in Canada the Burnaby Eagles wear apparently game worn West Coast Eagles jumpers from a few years ago.

I was thinking of suggesting to them they sell them on eBay, and get their own personal set from the proceeds.

Apologies if this has been loaded on this forum before- but does anyone have hi-res versions of these alternate SANFL logos from the 70s-80s? Cheers
