Because I can't wait for the A-League to start, I decided to make a second logo for the Phoenix (hint: it's on the right ). It involves the 'shield' inside the logo. I wanted to make a more 'traditional' logo of sorts for Wellington and I think it's not too bad. I don't know

I reckon Replacing the flame with the Phoenix would be pretty subtle.

2) Even if it did, then what parts of the EDFC logo feature on Sydney's jumper?
3) Sydney's jumper element (Opera House) is already on the jumper.
4) You asked about history, I told you about the history, so why deflect?

Thoughts on the new Brisbane Roar logo?

I like the design but the lion should be facing the other way.

The convention in crest and flag design is for animals to face to the left, since this is considered to be the advance position. An animal facing right is therefore in retreat. See the England Three Lions, or even the Fitzroy Lion!

It's a small detail but one that shits me nonetheless.

Saw this logo on ACA tonight. Looked quite a lot like the Roar logo when I first saw it...Now, not so much.

Hmm. I thought I was onto something like the Richmond logo and Tiger beer...

Are you serious? I grew up with the Sturt Desert Pea logo and while I agree it became a little dated, they should have modernised it...not screw it up!

It's very sad to see. Adelaide Bank's new logo is a perfect example of modernising while retaining some hint of its past. The beauty about their ogo is it fits in perfectly with the Bendigo Bank too.
